- In this episode of Vocare features the story of Rev. Fr. Gregoire Van Giang, who waited 26 years as a seminarian before his ordination to the priesthood. During the Vietnam war, although the seminary shut down, he continued to serve the Church underground by printing books and serving the parish. The seminarians were later arrested by the communist government of Vietnam and put under horrible and torturous prison conditions for three years. The dark nights of prison life made Fr. Gregoire question his faith in Christ and his call to the priesthood. Watch the incredible story of his priesthood.

My Lord, you inspire me a lot. As a missionary, sometimes it is very difficult for me to understand God's Will. But compare to your experiences, mine is nothing. Pray for me so that I may be able to be faithful till the end of my life🙏

Couldn't stop crying!
How many times have we face difficulties and walk away from God and the Church?
How many times have we felt forsaken and question our sanity about believing in something we cannot see or touch and something that may or may not be true that happened more than 2000 years ago to a different culture that has nothing to do with me.
Everyone faces different and difficult situations and issues at times but when we put our faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our sweet loving Mother Mary, everything will true out for the best. It may not be now, it may be for your children or your children's children but God will never forget us because he created us. Remember Ruth, she can never imagine that her great grandson would become King David.
Pray the rosary daily, do not break the 10 commandments, go for Sacrament of Confession regularly and let God take over the driving seat of your life. Amen.
P.S. would go to OLPS to visit Fr Greg. Amazing faith and survival story.

God is good, He is with us during our sufferings, I was in prison without any fault for 10months I know the loniless, my case's is going on, as God has released me from Prison, I believe he will release me from all cases, I had no money my family was in trouble God send good people's for my help, now I am waiting for the judgement day, pray for me, God bless you'll.

God bless you, Fr. Gregorie. May He continue to grant you abundant graces. A powerful testimony that brings an old woman to tears. One to whom you brought hope for strong and faithful men for the future of our Church.
I was anointed by Fr Gregoire 'Greg' during the sacrament of Confirmation (Sec 4) back in 2006 in OLPS. He's a much happier person ever since coming over to Singapore to serve us all. Greg's a very chill, fun loving, bubbly, easy going priest and would love a good laugh once a while! Thanks Father for reminding us through your testimony for your never say die attitude, and the willingness to Say Yes to God even if all seems lost.
