- Hello everyone! Today we have a special upload :D. Here are 5 songs, each 2 minutes long, but which of the songs are only from Mellow Sonic and which are from the AI? Can you tell the truth from a lie? The answer will be given later. So listen carefully and decide for yourself.

All AI except #4 imo. 1,2,3,5 all have this weird AI-esque buzz/ambience that does not sound natural on some parts that makes it seem artificial, it is a very weird sound to describe. #4 sounds very signature and I'd be surprised if it wasn't MS!
Here's my guesses and why.
*Track 1:* Artificial with 70% confidence, because it sounds more procedural to me, like instructions were given to an algorithm and it followed them in a mechanical manner, though this is more of an arbitrary and subjective interpretation of what it means to have a human being's taste being the deciding factor on what a music sounds like; the track is also split rather evenly between different parts, which also sounds rather mechanical to me
*Track 2:* Mellow Sonic with 60% confidence, has more of a vibe motivating its melody, a sense of energy in its build up, which makes me think that is a carefully crafted part, though it is a bit slower paced, which does make it difficult (to me) to discern whether it is made by an algorithm or a person
*Track 3:* Artificial with 55% confidence, judging it based on the drop being less punchy than what a human being may have wanted it to be, and the transitions being more abrupt with no lead into it
*Track 4:* Mellow Sonic with 70% confidence, once again I can feel more of a vibe on this one, and that is a major determining factor in my guessing here as you may have noticed, I feel like the part that starts at 7:53 and ends at 8:15 has a more crafted pacing
*Track 5:* Artificial with 60% confidence, there is something that sounds procedural in the main beat, to me
I'm interested in the follow up to this, I figure it might be rather educational, I wonder if my impressions are correct or if this technology is at a different stage than what I expected it to be. The metrics I used are also rather arbitrary, so I may very well be entirely wrong.
All except 4 are AI, I like the 2nd track though, AI did a good job on that one.
All of these tracks are cool. Do I have low standards or is AI that good? 😀Which AI model did you use to create these?
Track 4 has a Mellow Sonic fingerprint. Hopefully we are going to see a complete version.
Also, could you create a full version of track 2? I really liked it.

My guess is 1 and 4 from you and 2,3,5 from the AI. Track number 4 fits your style very well. I'd say 2,3,5 from the AI because they have some fuzziness/delay/distortion in the mids. Also the drums in track 1 and 4 seem the most fitting in their tracks to me.

MELLOW! I've been following you for long enough that I'd never want to believe that you'd wanna release AI for ANY reason other than to prove a point. But I'm also worried that your genre could be AIed :'

So to clarify, they could be anywhere from 0 to 5 by ai or mellow sonic?
Correct. You just have to guess which ones. Listen carefully to each song, maybe you'll notice something that sounds different...
Track #5 is Your!
Before Track one what is the song? So Beautiful melody
1st AI(bland), 2nd AI(bland), 3rd AI(weird transition), 4th sounds like Mellow Sonic, 5th AI(sounds "weird"). Only 4th sounded proper, but i still have some doubts, but thats maybe paranoia speaking. The rest sounded realy low quality compared to most of the normal songs you publish. We shall see :)
My bet is that they're all made by AI.
All except 4 are AI
1) AI - Sounds cool, but that's what I would expect by someone else.
2) AI - The reese at 3:18 is kinda cool, but those drums are really weird & weak.
3) AI - Again, way too generic. I also never heard a track yet, where you just used the stereotypical d&b-beat, I don't think you'd go along using that. Also never heard a kickroll-fill from you as in 5:35.
4) MS - There's no way, it's not gonna be you. The way you arrange the drum-elements to beats, and the way you evolve your atmos & pads is so specific, I guess that's something AI still has a lot of catching up to do.
5) AI - The beginning was not too bad, but it fell flat, once the main-synth came in at 9:13, which sounds very weirdly artifacted. Also, way too straightforward drums for this to be you.
