    Great information! One question- how best to add music for a class with background music?

      good question! The best way is to get a hardware mixer and feed that into your laptop. The facebook group linked in the description is a good place to learn more about that!

    Thank you so much for such an informative video - just subscribed! Regarding the lens, would you mind recommending a few cheaper options (if possible, compatible with Canon EOS t7i). Since it seems like most of yours have a larger range, if you had to pick one, exactly what mm lens would you recommend for live streaming dance fitness in a smaller space (12mm, 20mm, 35mm ect.?)

    Hey Shervin, so is the DSLR camera only recording, or is it also providing the video feed for Zoom? Sounds like you're using the laptop camera for Zoom - is that right? I'm wondering if I can get away with just getting a better/separate webcam for my laptop instead of the DSLR option. Also, do you know if it's possible to record video on your laptop at the same time that you're teaching on Zoom? Thanks. You're awesome, btw. Been watching some of your classes and feeling very inspired.

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  Před 3 lety +1

      Laptop for Zoom & DSLR as separate camera for recording.
      You can record inside the Zoom app, they have a record feature! Thank you

    Hi thanks for the video and explanations. I am just wondering why did you film with so bad lighting and not the actual set you use? Can you share a link of a yoga class where we can see the real output? Thx

      I have some other videos showcasing that! Search “CorePower yoga shervin” all those use this setup. I was trying to show behind the scenes in this video

    Shervin, sorry to bug you but I have one other question. I've got the Rode wireless mic, but as soon as I plug it into my MacBook I lose the ability to hear the music I'm sharing through Zoom. You touch on that - wearing your AirPods to hear what's going on - but on my MacBook (3-4 years old?) Zoom won't play to my AirPods. I have to pull the wireless mic plug (TRRC, or whatever it is) out of the jack to hear anything. What's the work-around for this? Thx!

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  Před 3 lety +1

      I would plug it in, make sure mic is working, then go change your speaker output to whatever speaker you want. I'd follow this guide here: support.apple.com/en-euro/guide/mac-help/mchlp2256/mac

    The lens you recommend is pretty expensive. I found another one that's bundled with the camera. 45-150mm lens. Is this okay?

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  Před 3 lety +1

      If you have the space! That's a zoom lens so you'll need ample space where ever you're recording. Wider lenses are better

    This is sooooo helpful! Thank you! I have a question though: I do classes that last for 10+ hours straight (its a combination with fitness instructor and education in personal development) and im wondering what camera you recommend as the cheapest option if I want to be totally sure it doesnt stop recording? Also is there a way without using headphones (play loud music in the background) without the microphone picking up that sound? Im worried that my headphones will die in the middle of my education.

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  Před 2 lety

      OMG that's a long time! I'd stick with your laptop or else the process will get super complex

  • @activeresistancetraining

    Hey I have a question about the reduction of the sound of your breath with the headset. I have a headset but there's so much noise from my actual breathing that its distracting?

    • @ShervinShares

      yes it can be, you can adjust the settings on the mic or camera
