This is one the best “Lifetime” movies! It was well acted, realistic and relatable. There needs to be more imagery like this one! I am so tried of seeing the loud, broken, and classless images of Black women in media. Great job. Hopefully the team that produced this will bring us more!

"We vowed for better or for worse"... the worse is when unexpected things happen, like severe sickness, maybe losing a job or homelessness things you cannot control. But, when you make the choice to ruin your vows or your spouse's trust, you made it worse by choice. Especially dealing with someone for a month behind her back.
I totally agree. I got married in 1996 my husband was fine. He was pronounced permanently disabled in 2010. It got worse in 2012 he took a Humira pen shot and got pancreatitis spent 7 1/2 months in the hospital. Got out went back for months got out went back for months. People told me to leave him I said “no” I said vows for better or worse in sickness and in health. He hasn’t had any hospital stays in a while hopefully never again. I didn’t care what people thought I did care what my kids thought. We’re still together it been 28 years this May 25 I just pray for strength. I’m his full time caregiver it’s still stressful but not as bad now. Most people don’t think like you so thank you for the thought. ~ Marcie *I use my son’s CZcams*

after the first 3 1/2 minutes I said hmm something’s up with the friend. not sure why, but as the movie went on I was like - yup. and those snake or dragon earrings she wore in the beginning didn’t help either. symbolism of the pending betrayal.

Great movie! Sometimes the process to rebuild our lives after hurts and failures takes longer, I am so glad the characters in this story were kindred spirits willing to love and care for one another once again, Kendra was much caring towards others.

I’m so happy I came across this movie. I’ve been dealing with something similar and just now realizing my worth. It’s definitely hard to find the courage to move on but as tough as the betrayal is you can’t let it consume you. The ending gives me hope that there will be better dayz for me. ❤

Great film. After watching the entire amazing show, then going back to watch the first five minutes, the minutes, you truly see how shady both Keven and Terry were. Him not prioritizng his wife, and her bestie talking mess about the man she had a baby with. The warning signs are always right under our nose.
