Hard luck DJ Excel (Miaer Lloyd) finished runner-up in two consecutive UK Finals, the first to Pogo in '97 and here in '98 to Prime Cuts, his performance falling one point short of tying for the championship. (He also finished runner-up to Reckless in '91.)

Sick. Nobody mentioning the needle tapping bit, cos i started around this time and used to try and do that so much and was just janky as fook at it. That was so good. So constantly creative, check out his nu victory scratch in his vids, which is a dope way of euro-ing.
New catz should check him out just to get a flavour of how to try and push the envelope on stuff. And i always used to think that he really influence Woody.

I had the euro finals, Skully and Plus one were in, late '99. Damn i miss them tapes.
Dmc usa finals was the greatest though, when ptrix qualified.
He won the uk title this year per dmc fb.
