This song really hits differently now.
It was never one of my favorites, just a song I thought sounded nice when my little brother showed it to me. But now, I've never related to something more.
About half a year ago, one of the most important people in my life was taken from me. I still miss them terribly. I was thinking about them thinking about this song, and I may or may not have sung it to myself alone in my room a few times trying not to cry. Every waking second of my life reminds me of them and it makes me feel so horrible.
We had been friends for years but had only dated for two. A few months before our second anniversary, I realized I wasn't in love, and that romance wasn't something I was ready for, however, I was too scared to tell the truth. Very shortly after our second anniversary, as well as their birthday, they sent me multiple messages about how they loved me, and how they were sorry. I didn't see a single one until it was too late. They disappeared for weeks, and I was the only one who knew what happened.
Day after day, my friends would ask where they went, but I never had the heart to tell them that they had committed suicide, so I told them they must have been sick, and that's why they wouldn't come to school. A month went by, and people were really worried. A joke started that they were dead, and it was just a joke to them, but I knew.
A month later, my best friend and I were on our way to breakfast and we got a text in a group chat that had been dead for a long time. I still remember how shocked I was, but it was from our missing friend. They weren't successful, which is great, but they were sent to a hospital for three months.
That's great, right? Almost two months had passed, so only one more and we would see each other again, right?
That was April eleventh, at 10:05 AM. Today is August eleventh. Four months after the text, six months after the attempt. I was allowed to contact them once until they found out that we were in an lgbtq relationship and forbade any more contact. They plan to hold them for longer despite them being better and from what I know, they've been treating them unfairly. There is a very high chance I may not see them again for years. I miss them so much, and my life has gone horribly downhill. I've been depressed, angry, and just not myself.
Sorry there wasn't a happy ending, but maybe someday in the distant future, there will be. Till then.
Edit: 8 months after the incident, good news, they came back. Things are almost normal again, and I'm so grateful. Thanks to the 8 people I know who read this. Things are looking up, everyone :)
Edit 2: I'm back four months later, four o’clock in the morning able to sing this song and dance happily again. My little band of dumbasses is back together and even bigger now. Depression’s been kicking my ass lately, but at least I know I’m not alone. And to anyone who decided to read all this, you aren't either. Talk to your bros, parents, or hell, even I’m here. Don’t let yourself fall into the hole I'm trying to crawl out of. Cheers, y’all.

So our boy fell in love with a wonderful dame who left him. yet he still loved her and cherished the time they had spent together. Wishing her well but finding joy in any little thing that reminded him of his dearly beloved. Writing down the songs he felt in his heart for her as the years passed and when he died. He went back to the place that he met her. The place that had changed his life for the better and many years found he could do the same for a sad little kitten who had sat nearby. He taught her what he had learned and learned a few things himself along the way. Finding one more thing to love.

So these are all the little details i noticed in the bg of everyone's backstory
0:03- Lady wearing a hat in the picture, Same hat appears in the bottom left near her daughter in the video still dancing in 0:53.
2:08- Lady in the back round presumably his daughter also has the same hairstyle as Brenda's daughter.
0:55- Letter in his guitar bag is also seen in 1:02 in Still dancing.
2:16 we can see the lady wearing a watch with a paw print in it, we can see her again in The video karma in 1:28.
Now this is a stretch there is a cloth near the vanity in 0:15 , so I searched it up and it said they cover mirrors up when someone dies, so if George and Brenda are connected the maybe that's why it was covered.
I think the lady in the striped shirt is Brenda's daughter grown up. I saw in a comment George and Brenda might have a child together. Brenda didn't know that when she left and I think she knew the kid was George's so before she died Brenda told her kid the George was her dad, and that was during the relationship with Dave when they had a kid together I guess.
And the grandma at the end of "living on" might be the same women and girl from "100 years" (as a women), "Still Dancing) as a kid, and "Karma" (as a women)

I understand why its called clover. The hearts on their chest are each part of a 4 leaf clover. The ghost are people who were heart broken and learned to cope with it and understand that's its ok and now they are trying to help someone who can't move on because of her life around her. I feel bad for Kel because I understand her. My friends were like the ghost for me. I'm happy your making this OH3O you really hit home with this song

George is literally the opposite of a r/niceguy. Not only did he Put effort in the relationship and not use the loved one as a tool, when the lover broke up with him, instead of Being sad or threatening suicide or some crap like that, He just used them to remember the good parts of life.

If this series takes place in 2020, that means George’s girl left him in 1920. He was probably in his 20’s when the relationship kicked off meaning he was most likely born in the late 1890’s, to the early 1900’s.Seems it didn’t last too long though since she probably left him in 1920, cuz 20-30 years later, he was drafted into the army, he made it out alive. 40-50 years, he’s not looking so good. He died in the hospital bed from a heart failure (I think) most likely in the 1970’s meaning HE was 70 as well. After he passed, his spirit kept coming back to that same tree for another 50 years until he met Kel in 2020. A full hundred years since she left, and he still loves her. Damn.

😿 Your videos makes water crawl out of my eyes. This really hits home as my grandpa passed away in his bed back in October. He was a week away from turning 91 and was showing no signs of slowing down. I mean was still going out to dances which made it more of a shock. But after almost 9 years widowed, we could tell he missed grandma more every day. We all miss him, but know that he is now dancing among stars reunited with the dance partner he married.

This love is really beautiful, the guy is still waiting for her forever even though she never comes back and even if she doesn't love him, he still loves her. Even when he dies, he will always love her. It could only be love. I really want to cry when I see his ghost still sitting under that familiar tree waiting for the one he loves, but I wonder if the dancing ghost girl is the girl the boy has been waiting for, are not? Poor him, the girl he loved went to that far away city to follow her dream, got married and forgot in the old place there was always a guy who loved her passionately, no matter how many things happened, no matter how long it takes, he always love she 💖

Everyone seems to be assuming George's girl broke up with him, but considering the description says he's teaching Kel to hold onto lost loved one's memories, it makes more sense to me that she actually died young. Maybe it's just me, but it seems weird that he'd be hung up on an ex to the point that the people in the hospital with him would bring him a photo of her on his death bed.
[Theory Time] Speaking of the people in the hospital, the woman who runs up to him in the park when he has a heart attack seems to be (at least to me) implied to be his daughter. Her hair has the same spiky ends George's has but is also curly like George's girlfriend and a shade of gray between George's black and his girlfriend's light gray, so that could mean that when she died, she left George with a daughter to take care of. That's just a thought I had.
Also if it was his daughter it would make sense that she would bring him to the hospital and wait for him cause what by stander just helps you go to the hospital and wait for you?
Would they have drafted/ sent George to war if he was a single parent, though? Plus, his letter is addressed to Ms. C, which would be a weird way to address a letter to your own wife.
I do think that the people we see popping up in his life around the park are Ms. C's descendants though. Maybe Kel is even her great-grandchild or something!

I remember that this would bring me a smile when i felt down i was going through songs (i still love them and they make me happy) and i found your channel now i wonder if there’s another channel with stuff like this
George is the kind of person we should all strive to be. He fell in love with someone and she became the world to him, and she loved him too, for a time, but when she left he didn't force her to stay or pressure her on why she left, he simply let her go as she wished. He remembered her for his whole life, and well after it, but he merely looked back on and savored the good times he'd had with her to get him through life's struggles. When Kel comes along, struggling from losing a loved one similarly to him, George still took the time to help her get past it without losing the memories she had.

You are right but... I feel like he had neglected him self by dedicating these emotions to someone he cared about for his whole life knowing full well he cant be with them. It's a heartwarming testament but I cant help but shed a few tears over the fact that he never got to share his heart with someone else till the day he died. This is just my perspective.
