- Hi Fam,
This video is me sharing lessons learnt from all the hurdles faced so far in the last 3 months as a new immigrant living in Montreal, Canada. I also shared tips for incoming immigrants to avoid mistakes i made .

Hey Thelma … I just subscribed. I love your videos . I’m in the process of JAPAing and in your previous vidoes I really enjoyed it Because you were literally just talking about what stage I’m in currently.. but you didn’t give us part 2 of that video😊. I would really appreciate if I can get some reading materials from Ielts ? Cus I am currently trying to prepare to write Ielts
Hey Cindy, thank you so much for watching . Yes I owe you guys a part 2 next 😩😩😩😩 and for the ielts material, reach out on IG @tphilz_ I’ll send you the link to the person who shared with me .
@@Tphilz thank you so much.. I’ll reach out to him .. please as for the part 2 please tell us how you were able to rank your score higher after the Ielts .. did you still complete and add your masters to it, did you complete your 3 years work experience?or was the Ielts enough to give u a good CRS rank, what is the a good rank to have ITA . How were you able to gather the required Proof of funds 😩😩 that part is always the daunting one . How were you able to get a community over there . And rent a house. And please tell us your friends made it to Canada😅😊 .. they were an essential part of this your journey 🥰.. Because your story is very similar to mine .. I’m a young girl who is just receiving a decent salary . I haven’t even done masters 😩And you know Nigeria , the average salary is not even enough to get by to the next month .. talkless of having millions saved somewhere .. that why I gave up on the PR journey . all this may make me opt for the PR route rather than the study route😩
i got you
@@Tphilz can I also message you for the materials
@@user-yi8tf7kb6r yes please

I enjoyed ur video... ❤❤
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the video, greetings from Alberta. Yes, I think the "get a car" rhetoric especially if not in a family situation needs a disclaimer that it depends on where you settle/live... Finding an apt in a central location eliminates the car dependency + related costs.
Thanks for watching , that’s very correct hence I emphasised on big cities . I think for example in Alberta, I am assuming places are not too far off from each other compared to bigger provinces .
It has the same challenges you mentioned, long and slow bus routes, and more (colder winters, urban sprawl). Edmonton is sprawled out for a city of it's size and initially lived in the suburbs and saw how "far away" you are to buy basics, entertainment, or groceries. Looking forward to seeing more of your content and experience in French Canada.
WOW, thanks for clarifying @@titiwhyehohoh
