I could taste that lamb when you lifted it out. Looks amazing and I bet the flavour in that was amazing. Love the idea of chestnuts in the pilau, here in the UK we don’t tend to use a lot of chestnuts in cooking. Don’t know why.

Очень похоже на Балкан, на традиционную кухню наших дедов чабанов. Способ подготовки у нас тоже древен, мясо под "куполом" жарится, а сверхвкусный жир соединяется с гарниром (только у нас картофель чаще риса). Плов я просто обожаю, ел его в России и Украине все время. На Кавказе я еще не был, но эту ошибку исправлю в будущем.
