Thank you for the video. We have been to Cancun 3 times, but the last time was in 1993, so it's been 26 years. Your video is informative and done very well. We look forward to our first stay at the Dreams Sands Cancun.
can I ask Garden Girl what was included a day trip to Isla Mujeres and where did you book it (we going and of July and looking for a day trips) thank you
Thank you for this outstanding review. I like how you plan for tips. I’m the same way. When you tip well the people there treat you like royalty 😃😃. Thank you
I liked your video. Good job. I have a question: have you been to other dreams resorts in the riviera maya? How do they compare with this one? Which is your favorite?
Hello I just booked for this resort, do they have bracelets for the all inclusive guests or how does it work? Very excited booked after I saw this video
Already booked for June for my wedding anniversary. As far as the upscale restaurants, Is there an additional fee to eat there or it that included? For men going to those restaurants do men have to wear a jacket or is a button down shirt, slacks and dress shoes enough?
I just booked a room for 5 nights ! But I’m curious as to how much the individual restaurants cost ? I’ve heard that they charge in some other reviews ?? Great video btw completely convinced me !
what other resorts can you list that are comparable to Dreams sands? I love dream sands and the beach Please respond. Thanks Rocky-Mountain High Colorado.
Dumb question but just to confirm this resort is all inclusive right? Meaning the food and drinks were paid for already? Even with the fancy restaurants? Just tip basically haha?
Hello My friend?, How are you today. On the first hand thanks for sharing your review and opinion of this place with us. I have a question about the fridge that is on the room. All those drinks like beer and soda are included or do you need to pay when you drink them ?. Thanks.
There’s always the excursions down to the ruins near Playa del Carmen. A fun trip we go every year is a day trip to Isla Mujeres. It’s a small island 7 miles off the coast of Cancun. Very low key, very different from Cancun. You can pay for a day trip with one of the events companies if you wish, but you’ll get herded from place to place on a schedule. There is a ferry near the hotel that runs back and forth every hour. For us, it’s more fun to get a ride on the ferry, take our time and explore the island, then come back when we’re ready. Have fun!
Thanks, Christopher! Actually, all the restaurants require men in covered shoes and collared shirts. The beach buffet is the only place you can wear flip flops. All the restaurants are upscale with very well trained servers - I know, I’ve worked in full service restaurants for 29 years - and so they want you to dress up a bit.
We were not. Supposedly it gets you checked in faster - that said, we were checked in in minutes. Not sure if there's really a need for the extra cost.
@@Ben-eh1qt yes there were quite a few family's there but I didn't find it objectionable. We paid for the preferred club upgrade so we had an exclusive part of the beach, and the service was amazing!
Hi thanks for the awesome review. I have reserved the Deluxe ocean front w/balcony. What floor should I get to overlook the palm trees to see the ocean? Thanks
May want to reconsider. We’re on day 2 and I’m disappointed enough that I’m looking online to see if anyone is experiencing the same. Our experience has been NOTHING like this review. The rooms are old and dated, as is the entire facility. The staff is nice but the service is slow and terrible. The food is god awful and the portions at the restaurants are tiny. The outdoor bar in this video is gone. They converted it to a lunch grill. There is no outdoor bar where you can just sit, chill and relax. If you’re a beer drinker, you’re in trouble. They only have one kind of beer, ONE! Dos Equis, thats it! The daiquiris and pina coladas are good, but all the other mixed drinks are watered down, terrible and served in small reusable cups which were gross. The bar tending staff is very limited on how to make any other drinks than the the ones on their menu. The chefs don’t wear gloves and one of them at the omelette station this morning wiped her face on her sleeve and then used her hands to get onions to put on an omelette. Last night I ordered Frutti de Mare with scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels and it came out with nothing but calamari. The entire dinner took us over 2 hours and when we got out the only bars that were still open we’re the tiny lobby bar and the nightclub. I have 5-10 other things I could write as well but in a nutshell, If any of the above things are things that would bother you I would find another place. D
Our experience has been NOTHING like this review. Very very very disappointed with our stay so far. Three BIG thumbs down. Place is older and dated, food is awful, drinks leave A LOT to be desired, service is slow, not enough space or chairs on the beach, etc. I could go on and on.
@@jaybrie2931 I was gonna pick the grand oasis cancun but it has several negative reviews as well. I hope I like it better then you do. I'm sorry to hear that you are having a crappy time. Do you have an ocean front balcony room?

Stropix I’m not paying money to sit on the beach and get into water with a shit ton of seaweed. Many beaches don’t have that nor get it. Be my guest if you want to pay to swim in seaweed.
I hope that you went to the Mayan ruins instead of hanging out at the hotel. If you just hung out at the hotel, you could have come to Florida for a vacation and kept your money in America. If you went to the Mayan ruins, I hope you got some video of them and will post it.
Literally booked my resort after watching this video. I have been searching for MONTHS. Thank YOU. ❤️
You won’t regret. Just don’t buy the club membership. Highway robbery. Research.

Thank you for the great review. Planning to have a family vacation next February with Dreams Sands in our minds.
Thanx for the review ! I heard of this place and your video just convinced me for my next year vacation !
We loved this resort! Super clean...great food and service...beautiful beach
Thanks for sharing, we're planning to go tonthis place after the holidays. I heard it was a good family resort in Cancun. Great review, thanks again
Love how you didnt edit to make the commentary perfect.sound like a normal person. Love it thanks
Great video review! Thanks for posting.
Just booked it. We were sold on the beach. Thank you for your review. Great job.
I just got back Friday from this resort and I had a phenomenal time. I will go back. The icing on the cake was watching the super bowl on the beach.
Thankyou for sharing! Looks amazing!
Thank you for the great review
Great genuine review. Just booked after watching.
Went there last Feb. We liked it so much we are going again this Feb! Excited.
Loved video and booked our next dream vacation
I love this resort, I got married here March 2, 2018 and was overjoyed because my family loved it as much as I did and we'll be back this July 2020!
can I ask Garden Girl what was included a day trip to Isla Mujeres and where did you book it (we going and of July and looking for a day trips) thank you
Are the fancy restaurants included in the "all inclusive"? Which restaurant do you recommend the most?
Going here in January with my boyfriend, super excited, thanks for sharing your vacation there

Ok, I feel a lot better about booking this hotel now! Thank you!
Same here! Going in a few days and didn't have a lot of options left.

Restaurants are all included. Button down shirt, slacks and closed shoes for men are good. Have fun!

Great Review!!!
Going to this resort in a week or so, I'm super excited! Thank you for the review
You’ll love it!
Random Funny Gaming moments how was it
It was great, the water was warm and calm and service was amazing. Not to mention the food was superb
I have read there is shade on the beach until around noon. Is it better to go to the pool in the morning? Does it get sun early?
There’s sun on the beach pretty early. The pool is fine. The water in the pool is heated, from what I understand. It was very comfortable all day.
what other resorts can you list that are comparable to Dreams sands? I love dream sands and the beach Please respond. Thanks
Rocky-Mountain High Colorado.
Dumb question but just to confirm this resort is all inclusive right? Meaning the food and drinks were paid for already? Even with the fancy restaurants? Just tip basically haha?
Yes. Everything is included. Just toss a buck to your servers and bartenders and they’ll take really good care of you.
Very nice video. Have been there twice and will go again - a Very Nice Resort. Go as a Preferred Guest to even enjoy it more.
Loved the video , are there many restaurants near by the hotel?
Take the boat trip to isla Mujeres! For $70 usd it was the best fun memorable all day excursion!!
Im gonna book this hotel how much for the cabanas are they free?
In the Bahamas they're not aloud to take tip. But I get your point. I like to tip for good service as well
Mexico is very tip oriented. More than the US. Everyone there wants to be tipped, even the check in staff. It can get a bit ridiculous.
Thanks for sharing
That's where I'll go from here on out.. 😁
what types of beers did they have ? I heard only 2 selections is this true ?
It might be. I didn't drink any beer, just whiskey. They do have upscale liquors.

We are leaving Sunday for this resort. Is there a must do excursion? Don’t want to miss out on anything

Hi can we get food around the clock?
Happy vacation
Thanks, Kahpone.
Good video man! Also, do any of the restaurants require actual shoes and not allow things like flip flops?

Lord Spoda Thanks for quick response, we leave Sunday morning.
Awesome! You’ll have a great time.
Thank you.
Are all the restaurants ALL INCLUSIVE?
They are.
What did the prices look like on drinks? should be going for spring break. Thanks
It’s all inclusive, so all the alcohol you can drink is included in the price.
Not a big party resort. Very family oriented. Hardly any singles
Check out CheapCarribean... the deals are great
How much do you tip the “maids” per day?
Was there a Coco cafe?
Is the beach private to just those staying at
the resort?
All beaches in Mexico are government owned. That said, the beach was pretty secluded.
👍🏾🤗🌿🌱🍀⚘️
Did they really have Jack Daniels? All other resorts I have went to never had Jack Daniels. Thanks!
were you in the prefered club?
We were not. Supposedly it gets you checked in faster - that said, we were checked in in minutes. Not sure if there's really a need for the extra cost.
If there’s no wristbands how do they determine who the guest are ?
They ask your name and room number when you dine and then match it to a list they keep updated.
Well you could literally just make up any room number then
Do they have coffeemakers in the rooms?
Yes.
Looks great, I'm booked in 2 weeks.
How was it?

I haven’t. We had it down to between those two as well!

The sushi os good?
Yes, it was really good. The Asian restaurant was probably our favorite.
