I still cry every time I watch this Olivia has been through so much and this was so heartbreaking. She bonded with him. She took care of Calvin more than his mother ever did. They loved each other, it wasn't fair. If only she could have gotten him back.
You could tell both Olivia and Calvin didn't want it to end. Elliot should of helped Liv take it the courts and go with the intention of they wanted the best for the child for for the parents. Considering years later he was still with the grandparents was there any intention of the parents going for him? Liv should of been able to contest something and child services should of taken into consideration the boys old enough to understand what he wants too

this is what's wrong with child protected services and the law. I know this is only TV but this is real life. I was calvin at one point. taken away from someone who loved me and would do anything for me just because my biological father was an ass who only wanted to hurt my mother
In this scene you would of thought that they were taking Calvin from his real parents. Was no compassion or proper goodbye except a clinging hug they had. If there rough with someone whose had temporary care it makes you wonder how they get the main parents.
