She was super sexy. I woulda gotten myself into a lot of trouble if I was hanging around Hela. I wouldn't have been scared of her. I probably would have tried to hit on her and gotten myself impaled or banished or just blasted into atoms for being too brash, assuming or presumptuous for hitting on a goddess, but then again, she might have taken a tiny liking to me for trying. She was away for a loooong time. Who knows man! But probably not lol! She was royalty and probably wouldn't mix with the subjects or the help. But she was looking pretty dang good in a wild sort of way. She killed that role though! It was a very dignified quietly powerful performance. Maybe it was her accent.

I love how Hela easily became one of the top villains to grace any marvel movie. The way Cate Blanchett plays her it just feels so natural for her. Like she was absolutely born to play the role. For me she is half the reason why the third Thor film is the best out of all the Thor films. And one of the best in the whole MCU.

Let’s all be honest. Jonathan was the most powerful weapon in the MCU up till this point, so seeing Hela easily catch it, then break it threw us all off guard.

This movie was one giant waste of potential. It was doomed the second MCU's execs wanted to take the story of Ragnarok and make it fun and throw in a pointless subplot inspired by Planet Hulk. And a New Zealand comedy hack who would never tell you what is Prose and Poetic Edda wasn't good either.

Cate Blanchett is a master of acting with her eyes. She conveys so much emotion with such subtle expressions. also love her theme song that starts around 0:23
She caught it with no real difficultly and held it with just her fingers when Thor was calling it back and destroyed it instantly when she was in her weakest form

I just realised that after eons of being imprisoned, hela just got released and she wasn't even on asgard yet, and she just broke the hammer with her powers at bare minimum. Thanos was right to wait for hela to die
It's possible that Hela _(who first wielded Mjolnir)_ might have enchanted the hammer which would allow her destroy it, if anyone were to ever use it against her.
*Edit:* If Hela is truly as strong as many here like to believe, then why didn't she try to break Gungnir _(Odin's spear)_ during her fight with Thor? Both Mjolnir and Gungnir were crafted by the Dwarves using the same metal _(Uru)._
I think Hela wasn't worthy anymore because of the bloodlust and greed she posessed, i think she just broke the hammer with her raw strength and magic

You can see mjolnir shaking as it's trying to attack hela, you can even hear the sound effect it makes when attacking. So like the previous comment said, she's just far more powerful than mjolnir. Which then shows her power, because odin is the one who placed the enchantment on it, and she just straight up smiles against something with the power of odin
I think the worthiness enchantment was gone at the moment Odin died

Hela is just powerful enough to hold on to the hammer and crash it, how the mjolnir work is it uses weight manipulation, to those not deem wrothy, the hammer will feel as heavy as a mountian, and if your worthy you swang it effortlessly, so even if say we took the worthy part out of eqution, you can see that thor is calling back the hammer forcfully and the hammer is reponding by looking at the strap of the hammer pulling back, but hela grip is so strong, the hammer cant escape from it, it also mean that hela is strong enough to hold something as heavy as a mountain.

And THAT is the real reason why she hates Odin, I mean Venusaur.

It was a good movie. Val, Thor, Loki and Hulk were all fun as well? And she didn't even have as much screentime as them. How did she carry the movie?
