- अभी भी ये सवाल अक्सर पूछा जाता है कि एक विकासशील देश कैसे एक ऐसी सेना का निर्माण करे जिससे लोकतंत्र को कोई ख़तरा न हो? क्या असैनिक सरकार सेना पर नियंत्रण रखते हुए उसकी प्रभावशीलता को उच्चतम सीमा तक पहुंचा सकती है? इसको भारतीय लोकतंत्र की एक सफलता माना जाएगा कि दस लाख से भी अधिक बड़ी सेना होने, कई युद्धों में भाग लेने और कई आंतरिक मोर्चों पर इस्तेमाल किए जाने के बावजूद सेना ने ज़ाहिरी तौर पर कोई राजनीतिक महत्वाकांक्षा दिखाने से परहेज़ किया है. लेकिन इसका ये मतलब नहीं कि सरकार और सेना के संबंध हमेशा सौहार्दपूर्ण रहे हैं. विवेचना में रेहान फ़ज़ल बता रहे हैं सरकार और सेना के बीच विवादों का कहानी.

Nehru was the choice of India, he was the most popular leader after Gandhi, he was worried about the Army because he saw it as the same army that had fired at Jallianwala Bagh, fought against the INA and also Cariappa had refused to allow re-entry of INA soldiers into the Indian Army because it would look political, after what happened in Pakistan it was a reasonable precaution.

Thanks God, Hitler Modi has made India a weak and divisive country, where Hindutva fanaticism was absorbed by indian Army under Bipin Rawat who danced to Modi's fascist tunes and ordered a fierce crack down against unarmed, starved Kashmiri Muslims, and it has reshaped indian Army as a Hindutva tool, that was unnecessarily deployed in such large numbers in Kashmir as 900,000 men on internal security or anti insurgency duties, consequently this Indian Army is now only fit for Cantonment duties, taking toll on its fitness to fight a war at the international borders. Anti insurgency duties also incur 7 times more costs than normal cantonment duties, which again is taking toll on Indian Army's ability to invest in its further development, procurement of modern equipment, improvement in its communications and logistics, human resource enhancement and development. Continuous anti insurgency duties have left indelible marks on the psych of the Indian soldiers, and frequent fratricides, suicides are reported. Bipin Rawat instead of keeping Indian Army as a national asset that could be efficiently used to protect and project India's national aims such as afford it safety and security at international borders, bogged it in the quagmire that is no less than an impending genocide of the innocent Kashmiris. Bipin Rawat was guilty of projecting a farcical impression that the Indian Army was capable of fighting a simultaneously two front war with China & Pakistan, this assumption proved totally frivolous, a Sand Castle made in the air which evaporated in the strong winds blown by an ever belligerent PLA at Gulwan debacle, leave alone a two pronged war that Bipin Rawat was claiming within the capability of the Indian Army. Modi has now come to his senses and is now suffering in silence, under a press blackout of the territorial losses, and is nursing his wounds and the defeat by an ever aggressive PLA. Has any one enquired from the shortsighted Modi if why he rolled back the raising of the India's only Mountain Strike Corps, especially after spending Indian Rupees 65'000/- Crores on one of its divisions. India also failed in its aim under the tutelage of Fascist Modi to integrate its Army like other industrial nations such as USA and China, India failed since it is not an industrial state. Chinas Western Command, facing India, comprises of total 8 integrated divisions including two mountain tank divisions, a guided rocket division and 500 4th Generation aircraft (stationed 50 miles away at four airfields from Indian borders across the mountains), can India withstand this much of Sino fire power at Ladakh and Himanchal border? India's research and development projests for new technologies have missed their completion deadlines for decades, the end product were rejected by the would be users, the Indian Army and Air force, where as Pakistan's AESA capable block three JF17 has been handed over to PAF.
Is there no voice of sanity in India that can remind the prudent Indians to think over once again, over the dilemma faced by Indian Army under the helms of the Buthcher of Gujarat, the Fascist Hitler Modi!
