Koroit produces the most unique and affordable opal by far in australia, its been a well kept secret for a long time by all the big opal buyers, more production happening on that field than anywhere. Yet few people have ever heard of it.
This would be some really awesome material to cut and cab. Don't think I'd be able to afford it though, even in the rough which is the way I buy rock and gem material.
