[Kramer enters]
Kramer: Hey, hey.
George: March 21st. Hey! So, you're gonna back me on this, right?
Jerry: Oh, all the way.
George: You are a good friend. You know what? Even if you killed somebody I wouldn't turn you in.
Jerry: Is that so?
Jerry: Hey, Kramer if I killed somebody would you turn me in?
Kramer: Definitely.
Jerry: You're kidding?
Kramer: No, no, I would turn you in.
Jerry: You would turn me in?
Kramer: Phwap, I wouldn't even think about it.
Jerry: I can't believe your a friend of mine.
Kramer: What kind of person are you going around killing people?
Jerry: Well, I am sure I had a good reason.
Kramer: Well,, if you'll kill this person, who's to say I wouldn't be next?
Jerry: But you know me!
Kramer: I thought I DID! - Komedie
"I thought I did" I love the look of genuine concern on his face as if he believes Jerry's about to admit he killed someone😂
yea... ahhaha... n also things can go south in matter of few seconds ... lol
Jerry: The answering machine is like a relationship barometer.
George: What IS a barometer?
Kramer: It's pronounced thermometer.
😂😂
😂😂
The delivery on that 'definitely' is out of this world.
Yes it is. You’re taking for granted Michael Richards saying it like that. But when you’re given the script and it just says “definitely” it’s difficult to come up with a perfect delivery.
@@davidporter671 facts
You can't argue Kramer's logic.
Kramer’s reading of the “I thought I did” line? Masterclass.
Well what kind of person are you going around killing people
Well sure I had a good reason
LOL, he's not wrong.
But you know me
@@BillyBones-ui9ck I thought I did!
😂😂😂😂
My favorite scene from Seinfeld. Commitment to a random banal interaction with such a hilarious outcome. Michael Richards’ brilliant timing and delivery! “I thought I did!”
His timing and delivery of N word was brilliant too.
Wooow you really went there smh!!
Yea he’s a clown!!
@@24pavlo I'm sure you never made a mistake in your life
@@mrloop1530 Of course he didn't! After all - if he did, that would prove that he could never do anything right, and everyone would forever remind him of that moment in every single interaction... right?
Throughout its run, Kramer held the moral compass of the show and the genius of the writing/acting was that he was the one you least expected it from. What a show.
Those frozen stares from Jerry at the end of these scenes always close it so perfectly
Kramer is my all time favorite role in any movie / tv series. He's absolutely spot on in absolutely every scene. He understood and executed the character perfectly. Genius
In some of the early episodes he was kinda creepy. And George wasn't so neurotic in the beginning. It took them a bit to perfect their characters.

Kramer had a point here this time.
One of those rare scenes, sprinkled throughout the show, in which Kramer is 100% right.
It is interesting when Kramer acts normal
What's more rare is when George is right. But he was at least a couple of times:
*1.* When he wanted a refund from the Delicate Genius who cancelled his doctor's appointment; *2.* When he expected credit for buying The Big Salad.
@@I_Fight_Instacart when dealing with a Costanza, always stop at one example. The entire big salad episode is a portrait of his moneygrubbing and childish outlook on things like "getting credit". Love the bold typed numbers though.
@@IDontBuyIt50 The problem with The Big Salad is that yes, George is being childish and self-absorbed. But he is RIGHT that his girlfriend wanted to steal the credit! When Elaine let slip that George was upset about the big salad, his girlfriend IMMEDIATELY suspected something. Why would she be suspicious... IF SHE WAS NOT THINKING THE SAME THING GEORGE WAS? I used to have a much more detailed response to this, but basically the way George's girlfriend reacts to that situation confirms for me that she was intending to steal credit. If George was a regular person he would've let it go, but he's NOT, and his manic insanity reveals that he in fact was dating a fellow lunatic.
I love how a hypothetical question turns in to a realistic hypothetical answer 😂
Hm....definitely.
it is one of the best moments for sure
Same
This scene is hilarious, philosophically brilliant.
Hehe, I thought I did!
I love how you hear Jerry saying "Is that so" off screen.
This show is so damn brilliant
I've literally had this same conversation in real life! That's the brilliance of Seinfeld.
I feel like you just complimented yourself.
@@Justin-nx3pw that’s a very Larry David thing to say hahahaha, you can take that as a compliment
Me too! And then I was like "why does it feel like I've heard this conversation before..." and suddenly remembered this excellent scene. 😂
@@Justin-nx3pw I get the joke here (and yes very LD of you lol) but he was just complimenting Seinfeld for being so relatable and like real life 🙃
You are a good friend, "even if you kill somebody I wouldn't turn you in" .
The best scenes are the ones where Kramer is completely in the right
I absolutely love seinfeld...this was our generation of I love lucy....I never get tired of watching it to this day seinfeld or I love lucy.
Makes a great standing argument
This is up there with the lopper scene where Kramer tells Jerry that a lot of the victims of the lopper look like Jerry.
Jerry: Oh there's a lot of people in the city that look like me.
Kramer: Not as many as there used to be!
How about: Jerry: "You don't even know what a write-off is, do you?"
Cramer: "No. But they do. And they're the ones writing it off."
Jerry: "I wish I could get the last 5 minutes of my life back."
Who the hell is cramer?
@@boosie6107 That's what I'm trying to figure out.
@@SmurfySmurf12345 That's what I'd like to know about it.
It's Kramer! Not Cramer. 🙄
This ^^^^ is and always will be the funniest part of seinfeld
I love how it just ends there.
Kramer was a great fit for this part, really added so much laughter to this show, can't see anyone else who could have played that role. Funny guy.
"But you know me!"
“I thought I did!”
One of the best, there are too many in each episode to pick one from a single episode.
You know Kramer sometimes makes a lot of sense
You can talk, you can talk, you can talk
give me a few minutes and I could come up with 20 scenes as good as this one. seinfeld is the best.
It’s been a week
Kramer is the bomb.
I thought I Did! hahahaha! great moment right there! Best Sitcom Ever!
Yes, top ten best scenes from the show.
One of the great moments from the best TV show of all time
I always think of this moment whenever I see someone defending someone in real life by saying "If only you knew them, they're a good person!"
I really have to agree that this IS the Best Seinfeld scene! Too funny!! :)
Maria Johnson Next to, George shouting, GARY FOGEL DOESNT HAVE CANCER
Never let the friend know you would rat them out. Because they might kill you if they know, you know about the crime. They get you before you say bup.
Kramer can, on occasion, be the most moral out of all of them.
From what I remember, he usually was
Omg this scene 😂🤣
It is a great scene.
My favorite scene is where Elaine describes her date, "He took it out!" and Kramer instantly knows what she means.
Yeh, not far from there, clearly a top 5 scene
The 5 dislikes are the people that would turn him in
One of the best scenes in Seinfeld. Most likely the best if not top 3 comedy sitcoms of all time.
“I wouldn’t even think about it” 😂
IMO, Best line:
Kramer: All these big companies, they write-off everything
Jerry: You don't even know what a write-off is?
Kramer: DO YOU?
Jerry: NO, I don't
Kramer: But, they do... and they're the ones writing it off 🤣🤣
This is probably the most sane thing Kramer has ever said 😂
"What kind of person are YOU, going around killing people!?"
Michel Richards really made his the Seinfeld/David writing wit.
It is so tragic that, while Richards had really bloomed into something so amazing and special in Seinfeld, it all blew out, for the same reasons that made him a successful Kramer : irritability, madness, foolishness, unaccountability, social provocation.
i still love kramer's instant reaction when elaine says...."he took it out" 😂
I'm with Kramer! LOL
the way the conversation steers towards Kramer becoming convinced Jerry killed someone lmao. legendary
Best comedy of all time
In my opinion what makes this scene great; you can see both their point of views and agree with both.
I wouldn’t even think about it
Somehow I think newman would hold it against him and make jerry be his butler for about a year.
I thought i did !!!
Kramer: The "Truth-Teller" :-)
The nose job.....
I thought I did
Kramer is absolutely right in his response.
Too funny.
I've had this exact conversation with several people...and none of us had seen this episode.
Kramer is actually the most ethical member of the gang.
Just love.truth,acting,points made
Kramer's logic here is sound as sound can be lol
An absolute gas !
The best scene is when Seinfeld and Kramer switch apartments cause of the bright red light from the chicken place across the street.
Seinfeld comes flying thru the front door, imitating Kramer; this is the best scene ever.
Oh, I'm stressed!!
Kramer's got a point.
Kramer: HE CAN’T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
LOL ! such a legendary show
I'd bet a large sum of money that Larry & Jerry had this exact conversation prior to writing the episode, but with Larry as the hypothetical (well, kinda hypothetical) crazy person.
nope "is your head spinning like a top" is the best scene
Kramer has absolutely no filter whatsoever, absolutely love him for that 😂
Fun fact: That’s why his inner thoughts are never heard
Didn’t work out so well for him in the end😂
This is what commitment of truth is 😂
I feel that at some point in a friendship this question needs to be asked.
Omg it’s so goddamn funny this bit
I thought I DID ?!?!
Honestly I'm with Kramer 100% on this one
If Jerry Seinfeld killed someone I'd turn his ass in.
Jerry has already had Kramer expelled from the cinema for bringing coffee without permission.
What’s funnier is jerry thought Kramer is his friend and will always have his back then this and his face lol
Idk the rental car scene was pretty epic.
Love it!!!😅
Of the friends that I have, I would definite turn any of them in. No exceptions.
Friends help you move...
REAL friends help you move bodies
The low key “is that so…?”
Maybe he’s been thinking about it.
I haven't seen you working in a while! Along while!!!
His better line was, " I'm out "
Good responses.
This is why Seinfeld is so great. They made a hilarious bit based off some random comment. It really is a show about nothing lol
haha epic :D
Kramer is so right if my friend killed someone, I would absolutely call the police. Why would you hide that person murdered someone we have to call the police doesn’t matter who it isB❤
Kramer doesn't know reality
Seinfeld: _If I killed somebody, would you turn me in?_
Kramer: _definitely_
Says the man who has been wrongly arrested for serial murder and pimping.
hilarious
Which episode is this?
0:36 realistically speaking, he's right.
Or the whole episode of Jerry's New Jacket.
if jerry started killing, kramer would be one of the first if not the first to go
i'll take 'jerry buys rat hats in battery park at 3 in the morning' for 500 alex...
It's "Kramer"
