Some things i forgot to mention: 1) the gifts have the hitbox of the small coins in the mode they copied for this event, meaning that they are way too small. 2) Guests should not be able to get gifts since they cant get the item

As someone who’s spent 75 hours with nothing, I find that a lot of these issues can be dealt with by adjusting how you play the mode itself.
I haven’t really had too many issues with depositing presents in the open or getting spawn trapped cuz of how I play, but I’m sure other people do 100%

a lot of these things i mentioned impact the bad players a lot more than they impact someone like you or myself - specifically the bad hardpoints and spawns. I talked to a lot of people while i was playing this event, and a lot of the stuff i talked about in this video were the complaints of over 40 low level bad players. just lookin out for the little guy.
For real, I have spent like what? 30+ hours with 5k deposits and still nothing.... Tbh they should make it require more skill instead of just luck.

The walljump spam made me ragequit this gamemode big time. It is absolutely awful.
Man you understand my pain the same goes for me this event was good not enough but it does hurt my eyes since i have a eye infection. still i got some hopes for this game it was some many important points and you took out and simply i've been trying to figure them out and quite it were obvious love your content keep it up >3
I mean, think about it. Limited contra pet. If everyone got it so easily, it would be worth nothing and nobody would feel a feeling of sensation by getting it. While I do some people get it INSTANTLY, most of the owners were grinding. Also, spawns were bad because its an event, nobody would affort to afk, this happens a lot in kranked also. Second of all, the may be "the worst", besides the hardpoint at the fountain, it helped a lot of people including me learn map rotations and spawns for easier nukes :). My only issue is the hardpoint at the fountain, everything else was fun.
"If everyone got it so easily, it would be worth nothing and nobody would feel a feeling of sensation by getting it" i mention this in the video but there is already precedent for having a contraband item as a reward for a (relatively) easy challenge. for the all or nothing event last summer (i think? cant remember when it happened) you had to complete a few challenges (zero rng involved) and you got a contra. why not do the same here? if you make the goal high enough it will still be rewarding.

this is quite true, the only thing that rly bothered me was the color scheme, it's too bright. the map choice was shit, but I do get why they chose it.
I accidently joined a pub on an alt and got the festive flyer within 2 presents deposited. I got around 7 hours played on my main without any sign of it and looking at people like Gluke who have 10x my time without it doesn't make it more motivating either

Not only is the gamemode disappointing but also the fact that the devs were able to come up with such a bad idea for a Christmas event. Same with the advent calendar, imagine having to watch ads every day, for 25 days, just to end up with a knife which most likely no one is gonna use after 2-4 days

In my opinion they could’ve added snow to a handful of maps and that would’ve made the Christmas event more entertaining. Instead they recycled another event and called it “new” content 😂
I think that map and point is picked on purpose to limit the circulation of the pet item

4:40 Yeah that’s the point is to make it so you can’t just sit there and have to really earn the flyer
no cover is unfun game design, just like i said in the video. the event was completely luck based, so there was no "earning it" anyway. completely rng gamemode + sites that lower level players couldnt even play on = unfun and badly designed gamemode.
Yeah I tried getting it too but it took too long so I stopped grinding for it

genuinely feel like they should add the 0 ads option rather than .3, maybe .1 to be the least amount of ads power but it’s made my aim completely washed ever since they readded forced ads power
tbf i have always thought that 0 ads power was OP. i used .1 so im guilty of abusing it, but i honestly am not sad they got rid of it.
@@Photek24 that is valid and it was op but i do still believe it should be an option bc many competitive players used .3+ and not many people really bothered using the lower ads power due to the fact that it was harder to even line your crosshair up to the player if they were far away. but it had helped out a lot in my “glory days” of krunker and ig using .3 requires skill but it’s still difficult bc of the concept of your screen focusing on harder than other games that simply use hipfire
@@Killerdoll-no8bl totally understand what you're saying, and honestly a part of me wants it back, but for stuff like sniper and semi auto it was overpowered as all hell.
@@Photek24 tbh that is fair, but could also have found a way to not allow any lower than .3 on sniper and semi if those two are problems. not saying it’s a necessity to add back but it was a nice feature that needed some changes rather than the massive nerf it was given

It really annoyed me when noobs with 0 skill got it in 15 min and I hadn't got it after several hours. I got it after a LOONG time. Sick of Subzero now
