Ride - 1990 interview by Paul King HD

Ride as interviewed for MTV 120mins UK version, by Paul King, one promo clip had to be edited out after upload, as it was hit with a worldwide block. Recorded from analogue satellite receiver, scart connected into VHS VCR, recording at SP, the interview audio at broadcast was quite muddy, I have tried to clear it up a little. Taken from Bush E180 videotape, tape archive number 509.

For those who are wondering that's Andy Bell who ended up playing bass for Oasis. always thought that was such a demotion after the brilliance that was Ride. So glad they're together again. New album is incredible and on par with their 90s work.

That version of Perfect Time that fades in around 2:15 is amazing. My favorite track off Smile. Brings back memories of my mid-20s when you had to search to find music like this in the pre-internet days. I’m 58 now and just took my 25 year old so and 21 year old daughter to see Ride on their Nowhere tour. Charlatans opened. Amazing experience. Crowd filled with 50-somethings jumping around to Seagull. Thanks for posting this gem.
