- Poland had said it will restrict Russian diplomats' movements on its soil, prompting Moscow to pledge retaliatory measures. Warsaw’s announcement came on May 27, after Poland detained several people suspected of planning sabotage attacks on behalf of Russian security services
The new measures will restrict the movement of consular staff to the Warsaw region, but will not impact the Russian ambassador to Poland, Sergei Andreyev. Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman said that Russia plans to take retaliatory measures.

The Polish people do not agree with their president and PM on very much.
They resent Tusk and Duda cravenly pledging Poland as the 51st state a few months back and know well that Russia and Belarus will be bigger customers for Polish tech that Ukraine will be for decades. Poland is ready to supply Russian consumers and schools with excellent PCs.
Also, its farmers are opposed to special import licences of Ukrainian inferior produce being allowed into Poland and Lithuania.
The Polish economy can trade west and east and should make hay while the sun shines.
A mentality of post-conflict is the way to go and not imported Russophobia. Poland can be a beacon of free trade.

Russia attacked Ukraine long before Ukraine got anywhere close to joining NATO. Same with Georgia and Chechnya before that.
Putin is acting like Stalin did in 1939-40, when the USSR invaded Finland in 1939, and the Baltic States in 1940, despite none of them being allied with Germany at the time.
