    I had an ablation because of my bleeding/blood disorder. What I found it hard right after the surgery was to pee. It was WICKED painful. Once I felt good though after a week (I think it was?) I worked out and did 50 sit ups on my ab lounge machine. My doctor approved but she thought I was strange?
    To be truthful, I had not all the surgeries that you had. Omgawd, just to think what you went through you are a WARRIOR GODDESS! I do not know if I could handle all of those surgeries?!

    I had a hysterectomy on July 18th, 2023. I was walking and peeing on my own that night.Came home the next day and was showering that evening.I had an amazing doctor and have a high threshold for pain, but I wasn't really in that much pain.It honestly was the best thing for me.I was anemic, had cysts all the time, fibroids.By six weeks I was at the beach I didn't go in the water but I could go.Before I couldn't go because I was bleeding all the time

    Thank you for posting this vlog, Veronica - and for being honest and vulnerable and sweet. Recovering from surgery is no joke! I've had many surgeries and what I remember is that recovery times from anesthesia are different for different people, and sometimes the same person recovers differently from one surgery to the next. Many of the symptoms you expressed - fatigue, bloating, nausea, brain fog - was your body metabolizing and ridding itself of the anesthesia, and that takes a hot minute people! Six weeks for recovery sounds short to me too so TAKE YOUR TIME! You are equipped with so many spiritual, emotional and practical skills to lean on, and you can lean on your tribe too -so much love and support to you! KC

    Thank you for sharing Veronica. I don’t think I ever told you this but I also had a hysterectomy and a bladder sling for prolapse also 8 years ago. So glad you are on the mend. Sending hugs 🥰

      @@TheWholenessShift I did ok. I actually stayed in the hospital for 3 nights. It was around Christmas time, so after i got home I was feeling pretty good and hadn’t done any shopping. I made the mistake of thinking it was a good idea to go to the mall shopping. 🫤 I was in bed for 3 days after that. Honestly it was one of the best things I have ever done. Other than it sending me into menopause early.🤪 You look great!! So glad you are feeling better.💗

    So glad you are better now! I had no idea you were going thru this. I have some pelvic floor issues and go see the specialist for evaluation in February. I know I have prolapse. We will see what is recommended and unless they think rehab will be enough, I will no doubt be rewatching this and asking questions. I know I have childbirth damage and I suspect a rectocele at a minimum. Thank you for sharing and being frank. HUGS and Reiki!!!!

    my boss at the time I had my total hysterectomy said 6 weeks was enough to heal, come back to work. it wasn't long enough for me. I lost so much weight and hurt for the entire 6 weeks and could barely stand up straight at the 6 week mark. I was able to wait one more week, but then everybody had an attitude with me. sure heard a lot of "wow you really lost a lot of weight!" comments at work though. they didn't have a clue. in 2005 when I had mine, they gave me 20ish pain pills. I can't imagine having any surgery these days with no pain meds it's brutal. and unnecessary.

      Yeah, it’s definitely a rough surgery. More so for some than others it seems. It’s been five months and I still have daily pain.

    1:04:58 yes. I had two children & did NOT want anymore. I was so shocked after my total hysterectomy that it even crossed my mind as sadness. Sadness to not have that choice anymore @ 41 years old. There would be no way that I would start over. I was a teenage mom. Had some trouble conceiving the second. Thanks Depo Provera, you bitch!
    My oldest was grown and my youngest almost. An aunt was in her mid forties when she found out that she was pregnant with twins. I couldn’t even imagine.
    I just don’t have a lot of energy up begin with, let alone chasing toddlers in my forties. 😂 I know I spins like I do not like children. But I’m just trying to get across how much of a shock it was that my emotional thoughts were, We’ll never be able to carry children again.
    I didn’t have trouble long with my cycle. There was no clinical evidence that I needed it. I went from having normal slightly irritating cramps on the first day to being in so much pain. And almost not being able to eat much without feeling like I had eat the whole Thanksgiving meal by myself. I went to my ob and said Idk what’s going on but I also wanted to talk about getting the iud. He said hold on with that thought. We have to see why you are hurting & can’t eat but tiny portions of good at a time. Even without clinical evidence, he said with the suddenness of the symptoms that he did not feel comfortable with wait and seeing if something develops.
    (Oh, I had another abdominal surgery in May 2017. These symptoms started in July 2017. Usually i have a wait and see attitude but decided to not do that and scheduled the appointment.) He did the surgery August 29, 2017. My symptoms were gone. Not the symptoms from the surgery but the original pain & the difficulty eating. I do believe looking back that it was my intuition that I listened to without knowing anything about anything like that. I think he decided based on his intuition as well. I was a long time patient of his and had never had any issues.
    I hope you are continuing to heal. I know that I’m watching the video well after it was posted but it takes time to heal as you repeatedly said in the video.
    Thank you for sharing your life with us.

    Why don't u do Tarot reading videos V? U have Tarot cards I'm pretty sure dontcha....so why don't u do readings for like different signs or something like that? Just wondering lol

    • @TheWholenessShift
      @TheWholenessShift  Před 7 měsíci

      Well, I’m not a tarot reader. I do have cards, but I’m not very good with them. I just kind of play around casually for myself. Second of all, even if I was, as this video states,, I’m recovering from surgery. ☺️
