What is Master Wei mixing into his watercolors to make them pasty and not blume or blossom on his wet paper? Gouache?
Anyone know if this demo exists anywhere without the music? It takes a lot away from what's going on, and even drowns out the artist. Thanks!

I agree! The music makes it very hard to hear his comments. Muting the music also mutes his comments, which are difficult for me to understand, anyway.
what is the light orange color on the left side of his palette that he mixes into other colors?
Karen Krosnick looks like jaune brilliante no. 2.....mixture of titanium white and cadmium orange...I think....made by Holbein.

Dies anyone know the names of the 2 White-ish colors, - one ledning towards peach, Chien uses right at the start of the painting?
Gouache it appears to me. My watercolors run all over with the paper when it's that wet.

nice video, too bad the very poor quality doesn't allow to appreciate the brushwork of this master, why limit the quality to 360p??? Can't see anything else than blurred stains... A pitty.
What a shame to show such a master at work in such *low* resolution, and with distracting music over the top.
The music drowns out what the artist is saying. It adds nothing to the tutorial which by it being on youtube is inherently limited to us the viewers because we are not there.
