As great as Santos was, her success was in takedowns, position reversals and control but when it came to action, both G&P or Submission she failed 100%, Valentina succeeded with stopping all sub attempts and most importantly her striking and that made its mark as the significant damage factor. Val is a class act.

Look at Santos reaction when they announced THE ONE as the winner. She didn't even look surprised at all. Started clapping and knew she lost that one. BULLET didn't even look surprised either. She just was like ye it was a good fight but I knew I won that fight. Now compare that to the gift THE FAKE GOAT got against BULLET in their rematch. Nunes acted like she won the LOTTERY when they gave her the decision I almost felt sad for her like she was soo happy that they gave her the win and THE GOAT....THE REAL GOAT reacted like god damn they screwed me which they absolutely did.

I saw Amanda winning that fight based off the 5th round, that's just the way it is buddy, and I just saw it the same way...

And I don't know if you saw the recent interview as of a day or so ago when Valentina was asked if she wanted more smoke from Talia Santos and Valentina seem to have somewhat cold feet by stating that Talia Santos needs to prove herself with a few more opponents before they fight a rematch...

This is old news, but, to the best of my knowledge, there hasn’t been a fight or a challenger since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, has Valentina retired or what….?

The main reason is that the continuous blows they receive flood the brain with chemicals, due to the depolarization of neurons. According to LaSexta, the brain of a boxer is punished during a fight as if they were hit with a padded six-kilo mallet at 30 kilometers per hour, 30 times a day.
Living this brain attack several times for years leaves irreversible consequences.
I fought in amateur boxing from 6yrs old to 15.I won the 83'AAU Jr Olympic silver and 84'AAU gold.At 15 I fought "open" and faced 20-35 yr old men.At 42yrs old I developed sudden speech problems and stuttering.Its gotten worse now at 53.No doubt it has lingering affects and usually aren't seen until the latter years.IMO it was the constant sparring with older and bigger partners.

A phenomenal performance by Santos??? That just speaks to BULLET's standards. That was nowhere near a phenomenal performance. A good one grappling wise that's all. Many can make a case she's 3 rounds down? So lets go rd by rd. Rd 1 3:15 min on the feet BULLET countered her and got her on the fence and won everything on the feet and made a mistake and Santos had her back for 1:45 to end the round. She barely had any sub attempts in the 1st round and was trying to block her breathing and BULLET neutralized everything and punched her on the ground multiple short hard punches to Santos face. So 3:15 won on the feet and punched repeatedly on the ground while Santos barely landed any strikes anywhere and barely had a real sub attempt on the ground. 0 TD either way. How Santos won that round?? Having her back and not doing nothing besides getting hit before it went to the ground and on the ground??? Rd 2 Santos takes her down and does absolutely nothing again besides getting punched from TOP position and ref stands them back up proving Santos was doing SQUAT. Bullet takes her down after that and Santos lands on TOP after a scuffle on the ground.1 TD each BULLET landed couple shots from back position and attempted a sub even tho it wasn't anything special. Basically Santos had 1 TD the whole round and did nothing else at all. How she won that round ??? Rd 3 BULLET was whooping her on the feet for 3mins takes her down Santos gets back up and then Santos takes her down and has her best sub attempt that was slightly above average at best but BULLET defended it easy and was never remotely close to tapping. You give all 3 rounds to Santos because of the time she was on TOP position while getting punched multiple times??? I mean is it the esthetics looks of the fight that give the round to someone? Just be on top, never close to a real sub, barely through anything while you got punched in the face and you win the round??? Not to mention she had her on the ground for parts of each round and lost it on the ground and lost everything on the feet in the 1st 3 rounds. Lets not even talk about rds 4-5. Just because BULLET destroys all her opponents and met some type of resistance grappling wise ppl think she lost? That just speaks to the insane standards she set for herself and that's the standards ppl judge her by now that's all. Good grappling performance by Santos. She forgot she was in a fight and could throw strikes or at least having real sub threats were you are close to tapping her. Got totally neutralized on the ground while getting punched in the face and whooped on the feet. You can slice it how you want, no chance in hell she was even close to winning 3 rds. She gets 2 rounds at best. Calling her performance phenomenal is total BS. Good performance that's it.
I called her performance phenomenal in the sense that taking the arguable womens goat to her limit when noone else thought she would was a big achievement. Whether i thought she won or lost - It doesn't matter. Its a testament to both of them that people still debate that fight. Regardless, hope you enjoyed the video

It has been very, very painful for me to see that even the girls practice this cruel sport. Every blow they hit on the head without any mercy hurts. Instead of "sport" it is an exercise in sadism practiced by people from very poor economic backgrounds , although with great dignity as people, who want to be something before others and enter that world. I find the environment surrounding the fight hurtful. Very primary, childish. They would already accept the same thing if those who fought were their children or daughters
