“What I Would Give” is about just that. It speaks about the loss of loved ones and the idea that we would do anything to have them back in our lives. The song is sad but beautiful and is an homage to the ones we have lost. Shout out to Versa Films for bringing this song to life! I hope you enjoy!

Same here man... Just a month ago, me and my wife had a full term stillbirth. She had to deliver our boy knowing already he had passed earlier that day. It's been rough to say the least but we're doing better day by day, but this song just came on my feed and I guess what I'm trying to say here is that it helps knowing that you're not alone, the reality is painful that everyone loses someone they love. His name was Lucas.

I lost my best friend from birth when we were 15 to suicide. The pain I went through took me out of school for my entire freshman year and I didn’t return till I was a sophomore. He took his life 2 days after Thanksgiving our freshman year. The line “In another time or in another place, I’m just happy I was blessed with your grace” hit me like a wall. This song perfectly explains what the grief process truly is like losing someone close. Angelmaker, thank you….
Another Jacob here, that can relate, except I lost my “brother”, a title he earned instead of by default through blood or marriage, at the age of 23. I’m not sure I would’ve been able to process that at 15, your honoring him & keeping his legend alive everyday that you keep pushing forward through the struggle.

Not only does this band slap, but they've saved me. Angelmaker has shown me I'm not alone. I'm not the only one who feels their sanity slipping. I lost my dad to an overdose in 2014. hadn't talked to him since 2004. The grief of my past haunts me. Angelmaker is a blessing to those just trying to keep moving. That song Requiem off their 2019 self titled hits alot like this. Dreadful yet wondrous Mix of sad anger. Thank you Angelmaker for helping me keep moving forward. We hurt together, all of us.

I found you guys while i had experienced a really hard loss and clicked with the vibes from Into Oblivion and a few others from the album. Then you went on to release Requiem and that one felt personal and i couldnt stop listening. And each of the songs that depict depression in a way i couldnt express otherwise. Now this. The general emotion from this genre of music really helps me ease some of the anguish i felt but you guys have been one of the few bands to really put this personal subject together with the really heavy music. Its truly heavy. Thank you.

I lost my brother last night... I showed him this song when he came over drunk as a skunk.. he would always ask me if I have any heavy music up my sleeve. I instantly played this song for him and he was instantly hooked. He loved it so much that you could feel the pain leave his body when he exhaled. He turned to me and "Damn, dude that hit me right in the feels.." I'm going to miss him so much, this song will forever be in my heart and so will he. I can't find any better word than "art" to describe this song. I never expected to cry while hearing a deathcore song, but you guys made me. I didnt loose any loved ones in the last years, but I can feel the pain and emotion in this song and I'm just so impressed by the way you put that whole emotion in this song. I've lost many animals a dog a few cats some goats a fish but none of those will compare to going to the funeral of that person you love like I said and watching the casket laid down 6ft into the earth for the last time. That will hit you harder than anything else in this world. When you experience that you'll know what I'm talking about. I thank God that I got through that darkness with his help because that's how heavy it was.

A day after I listened to this song, my uncle passed away. I honestly was not super close with him. But seeing what it did to my mom emotionally; I wish I could take every bit of pain that she’s felt this year. Not only did she lose him, earlier this year I lose my grandmother, her mother, to a very short two week battle with stage four lymphoma. The pain my family felt is indescribable. Loss of any kind, friend or family, it hurts in numerous ways. But one thing to remember is to remember the ones we’ve lost not by how they left us, but with the good times and joy they’ve left behind and march on for them. To anyone who’s lost anyone in any sort of way, keep moving forward and carry their light with you every step you walk.

I lost her with in a week of her being sick... Ive never seen her look so scared an helpless in my life like I saw her in her hospital bed an before she went to the hospital.
