Ain't arguing with you about who won, but damn, it's not by much he won, and that camaro is a specific built for being fast. That AMG is a nice car just for cruising, AND it's pretty fast. I would pick the AMG any day for all purpose driving and fine speed :)

@@chad6876 that thing is supercharged? Sounds turbocharged to me, but I could be wrong.
@@chad6876 they come turbo charged. He likely put a larger cold air intake and exhaust downpipe with a high-flow cat, and then used a flash tuner to bump up the boost and fuel. Maybe he put a larger turbo too. But I doubt they swapped out everything to put a less efficient supercharger on it. Turbo is the best way to make lots of torque from a small motor.

And that charger is not a muscle car. It's a boat with a little bit of power. Look at the real fastest drag Hondas, fastest ones are high 6 low 7 cars but take 100psi of boost and AWD. Now look at all the muscle cars, they are running 6 second passes while still being a street car. Sick week has the fastest of the fast Honda guys (Pfi speed) and they kept breaking. Their shit is fast though

That Shelby is one of the nicest sounding cars out there IMO. Also, the truck race…both drivers making a mistake having their tailgates off. A lot of people think that by removing the tailgate you are reducing drag but in fact, you’re increasing it.
Shelby’s have always been one of my personal favorites, blue with white race strips and black rims 🤤
Lowers the gas mileage as well. Trucks are designed to create a swirl of air in the bed area and it keeps the air flow going over the bed of the truck. Stupid people don't think about the amount of research that goes into each vehicle in order to get optimal performance while staying within emissions parameters. Back yard tuner guy is not gonna out smart a team of designers.

If you see a car with a roll cage with a hoop.... unless you can do 150+ qtr mile save your pride and let em ride. Seen that happen once.. if you want to race at the strip, rules are if your car goes over a certain speed you're required to have a certified cage installed. Some people think the cage is for looks, but they fail to see that some people daily drive and track their cars over the weekends. Love it when others underestimate a whip. Makes for a great serving of humble pie.

4:40 the McLaren didn’t seem like it was racing the track hawk makes more power but it weighs 5,360lbs at 707 crank hp but the McLaren makes around 616 hp at 3,160lbs on the low side. There really wasn’t anywhere to race and it looks more like the trackhawk was initiating a race.

My car has a parachute on it but it's a street car. I don't run around town most of the time with it hooked up but I do if I am going to drive it to the track or have a race that requires the street drive. Doesn't take a million dollars to run 165 in the quarter. Especially in a car that has a big ls motor
When roll racing everyone thinks it's all their power that wins the race and that true, but also add in the cars weight to transfer when floored

Notice how all dealerships seem to be ripping people off? You want to know why? See that large piece of commercial real estate that the Ford dealership is sitting on? The large building the customer lounge the service and parts departments the office people, secretaries service writers, managers, shop foreman, mechanics, parts runners. The overhead is horrendous. That's why it's $400 for a key. If Tom's Key Center had overhead like the dealership, that key would also be over $400+. You only go to the dealership for warranty issues or for parts. If you go there for anything else, you're going to pay a lot higher. Everybody should know this by now unless you were born yesterday.
