    Very nice video. Doesn't using water raise the grain too much, or does a lacquer overspray hide everything? Does isopropyl akcohol work as well as water in terms of spreading the colour? It shouldn't raise the grain.

      I haven’t had an issue so far. I didn’t use a lot of water so I’m not really soaking the wood. Also, I sand all my boards a lot before hand, which I think helps. The isopropyl alcohol is a good idea, I’ll try that sometime :) wouldn’t it dry the wood out tho?
