I strongly recommend Themis as it is designed so that its content carries into your long term memory through several small segments of learning, practice, revisiting concepts throughout the program. It focuses on doing vs. watching heaps of very long lectures (at least from Barbri as my class largely just did Barbar / Themis) Also, Themis with its UWorld MBE bank of licensed MBE questions is a superior offering than the MBE-like (but not the same) questions from Barbri and Kaplan. Because of this, it seems that many users of Barbri / Kaplan supplement with other programs, such as Adapitbar. I have also remember and seen post-bar blog posts from my classmates mentioning that they found themselves overwhelmed and ditched their program in favor of adapitbar and selecting portions of Barbri for essays. Reviews are nice, but a potential user should find info or request a trial, as Themis and Quimbee did for me, to assess whether the program fits with your learning needs. I am not the best test taker, yet I was prepared and confident going in and got over a 300 on the 2022 UBE.

In talking with past participants taking the bar exam, prep courses around this test consisted of Kaplan. The individuals commenting said that this platform was helpful in the entire process and allowed them to achieve the score needed to pass the Bar.
I just passed the the CA J23 bar and I thought Themis was great. I thought the way Themis broke up the videos was really helpful. I'm not someone with a short attention span so I would frequently watch an entire topic lecture in one sitting but the shorter videos helped me keep separate topics separate. When you're watching/studying so much content I found it easy for things to start to blend together. Having to actually hit the play button after a subtopic was finished helped me organize the material.
I am not sure if I have said this already but your videos should be played in all law schools because it's really hard to choose between these programs and we are kinda just pushed to pick the most popular in the space. All in all, I am happy I stumbled across your page.
I have not gone to law school, but am currently working as a legal assistant. Great comparison though, very interesting and your videos are great as they focus on most important aspects of each course! Your videos have been super helpful to me so I’m grateful!

it's actually amazing how expensive these are, considering the courses are completely virtual and almost entirely prerecorded
