- Being transported can be scary, but with the capabilities of the mobile intensive care unit, fun decorations just for kids to enjoy and our pediatric trained specialists, it makes the ride a little less scary! Check out these fun facts about our mobile intensive care units ⬇️
🌟 We have specially trained teams that transport even our tiniest NICU patients.
🌟 We completed over 3,000 transports last year
🌟 Our teams traveled 170,000 miles last year, driving as far as Chicago and Ann Arbor
🌟 Maintenance for our 6 units costs about $40,000 per year
🌟 It takes 55-gallons of gas to fill the tank
🌟 Each unit is decorated differently from Minions to dinosaurs, Nemo, Lion King, space and more.
