- Deadside just released a new update & it's big! I've been covering Deadside in between my Scum survival series and i really enjoy the game but at the time it was pretty low on content. Now i want to get you guys together and do with Dead side just as i did with Scum. A survival series and i'm so excited about this! So, thank you guys for joining me for this!

I've got a lot of catching up to do with watching all the content you've made but I'm totally diggin the variety of games you play by yourself as well as with Fooster and Taco.. pretty much all of it man, just pure entertainment.

You right about the safe zone traders, they do rip you off like they buy things off you for 50% and when you buy from them the charge 2x the amount.

Storage is for you to store stuff and it will stay if you die. Can double the size of that storage and help out developers if you get the bonus 10$ pack
Hiya, I've been watching you on Foosters channel for a while and didn't know you had one as well.lol Anyway, subscribed yesterday and now watching you play Deadside. I really like this game but no single player. I have it on my wishlist on Steam. Can't wait to see more.

And those medicaments are for making the pen syringes. Insta 50 hps. Rags and sterile rags are slso very good as well should always keep them if you can. The medicaments take 5 then 5 of another item as well iirc and a syringe

Interested in this one as a long time ARMA Exile player, so refreshing to see there are no idiot zombies! Does this game support head tracking, ie Track IR? That will be the make or break for me!
I do not know if it supports head tracking, I'm very fresh to it and haven't really read up on stuff like that I'm afraid. But yes exile mod it reminds me a lot of it but something I would love to see in it is prone as you can't do that atm.
Now, there's a question. I've only ever used head tracking on racing sims, never even thought of using it for this type of game.
So, good news, bad news. Bad news is that Deadside doesn't recognise my head tracker (running on Opentrack 2.3.12).
Good news is that you've just revolutionised my experience of DayZ (which does recognise it). Seriously, it's a game changer, so thank you!
@@HereBeDucks you are most welcome mate! I seriously can not get into any game that does not support head tracking, the loss of movement and situational awareness just kills all immersion for me!

Should have taken first pair of Jean pants 4 slots compared to your two and u can tear the crap ones u start with, then u Could have carried out the rags and alchy. But hindsight 20/20 and it’s really not an issue as I’m sure you have found out lol

Rope and some rags make imp backpack as well. Super easy to get both

U may know all this by now I’m sure u prolly do but last thing if u keep food and water over 50 u keep a passive regen buff that gives 1 hp/tick so I think 45 sec or so u get hp.

Went to your server Good Guys the game looks good but I could not get away from the spawn in point because of three troglodytes hanging around the spawn in area that kept killing me I just don't get these people assholes is the best explanation I can come up with sure as hell they can't play the game if the best they can do is kill a spawn ins. How many knives do one person need? Now if I was decked-out is one thing but, a knife shirt and paints explain that to me if you can! went back to the same place 5 times so. I know they are hanging out at the spawn in point. However I'm going to keep on playing.

To be honest i dont think i have enough knowledge of any of the games at the moment. I might do one in the future though, good tip.

It depends what you are looking for, the game is short on content atm but they are working hard on it. I like the game loads.

Does this run better then scum . I have a $700 gaming laptop and it won't play scum just curious if this is a smaller game that my laptop could handle
Best thing is it check the steam store page for deadside and see if it suits the computer you have. 👍
It runs way better than SCUM, but slightly worse than DayZ. I've got an MSI gf63 Slim which contains an i5-10300H CPU @2.5GHz, 16 GB Ram and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650. This cost about £600, and I added 8GB Ram to the 8 it came with, so I'm guessing your kit is on par, or slightly better than mine. I get the following framerates on it @ 1920x1080:
SCUM: ~20fps Regardless of Graphics Quality settings
DayZ: Locked at 60fps at all times via vsync (bobbles around 65-75 with vsync off) with almost everything on max (some of the AA and shadow settings are 'high' rather than 'ultra')
Deadside: ~55fps with everything on 'epic'.
I should also note that Deadside does not like you using an external monitor though. It sets the refresh rate to 30Hz regardless of what Windows is telling it to use, and I can't see how to change that (though I'm not going to pretend I looked very hard).

Could be but not really, same type of game. But it's kind of like saying PUGB and CoD Warzone is the same thing.
@@Fisk it even has some of the same city names, I even saw in game objects that were the exact same as DayZ (ie some of the cabinets, grass, trees, clothing on the ground)

well i tried but honestly i found this game extremely boring with almost no one playing. Saddest thing was there was nothing new or interesting about anything in the game. It was extremely bare bones and super slow to get around. I honestly cant for the life of me get why anyone would want to play this game over another?
Each to their own man, i can't really agree with with anything except that it's a bit bare of content here and there.
Why does this look horribly optimized?
In this video it might be the quality of my recording tbh. I had just started focusing on youtube and didn't know what i was doing, the further in you get i the series you should see quality improvement. The game is butter smooth so I'm the one to blame here i would say.

Atm really simple compared to scum, but the studio just teamed up with tinybuild so we should see more frequent updates soon! If you are interested i would recommend keeping an eye on it as there should be things coming around. 😊
