- We Lived On A Brand New Leopard 42 Sailing Catamaran for 9 days as we delivered her from Fort Lauderdale, FL to the 2023 Annapolis Boat Show where she will be on display for all to see.
We make a quick overnight pit stop in Brunswick, GA to top off on fuel, and water, and to take a break from the wind and waves that we have been pounding against the last 48 hours.
Now that we have been on board for a couple of days, we’re going to show you around this luxury floating home and share with you the things we have come to love about this new sailboat!

Hi Guys, recently discovered your channel. Enjoying my new find. I’ve sailed the Leopard 40 often but have been interested in the 44 as well as the new 42. Wondering if you had a chance to gather an opinion on sailing performance compared to your L44. Cheers.
I wanted to ask you about the access to the rig from the helm. Hi we are s/v Truly Amazing L-40 we meet you guys at just Cats when we had a broker show us the 42 you sailed up to Annapolis. As we discussed when we meet one of my concerns was the ability to get the main sail area from the helm. The stairs going up are on the opposite side (port) of the helm. What was you take on this issues since you spend so much time on the boat. Thanks
My opinion (Greg from the video) is that once the sail is broken in so that you aren’t up there giving the sail ‘flaking assist’, you would really rarely have to go up to the mast while underway. This design maximizes your space, and the running rigging really is designed to do everything from the helm.

On your boat could you move the fresh water fills up to the deck?
Popping creeking sounds does not sound to good.
If the boat flexing that much i would not want to be on it at sea.
