    Setup is:

Very nice and yes a small notebook works. To bad you can’t use a tablet instead.

hi, im new to ham radio, so your laptop digitizes the signal from the kx2? are you able to get clearer and more precise signal that way? thanks

I use the notebook to decode signals which was sent digitaly. So the sender also uses a computer to generate the signals. You are not able to decode this signals by your ears. Sometimes the signals are below the noise floor. So it is impossible to hear them. But a computer is able to to deep mathematics and find this signals. So at the end you reach far destinations which would be not possible with speech oder morse. Vy 73 de Bjoern, DL2NEP

how many meter wire antenna and counterpoise?

wire is about 7.5m and the counterpoise 4.5m. On 20m I have some trouble (SWR 1:2.8...1:3). Best idea is to test the perfect lenght.
