    Irene, I shoot A7III and E-M1II. Love both but if I have to choose I will with Oly. The 3 primes 1.2 and the 12-40 and 40-150 2.8 are simply awesome and tiny.
    If you use a 35 1.4 and a 70-200 2.8 you get the same weight just in two lens.

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  Před 4 lety +3

      Sure, thankfully most photographers rarely shoot in dark and rough conditions. I can't think of a time where I had to, even when I worked with clients.

    • @robertbenton2804
      @robertbenton2804 Před 4 lety

      Actually low light situations happen quite frequently, at least in most professional situations such as architectural photography where the trend is dusk and morning photography, not to mention dark churches in wedding photography. I use all formats including 4x5. Each has it’s place. My point is when you are in a more controlled environment the micro 4/3 is a relief and fun to use, however few pro photographers have that luxury in the real world.

    In my humble opinion, the medium and large format cameras really come into play when printing in large formats or displaying the pictures on a very large screen. Other than that with a sufficient amount of light, small sensors will produce excellent results as well.

    For me it's always about good light rather than the sensor size. Here you are controlling the light and are up close. With the continuous light your camera will focus at it's best. Certainly this shows why using a Macro lens for close-up portraits is great even if the f stop isn't as fast as your other cameras as they are very sharp captures.

    How do you get your sister to pose so often for you? My wife spent less than ten minutes with me and then refused to come back. I ended up buying a mannequin for adjusting and experimenting with my lighting. This shoot reminds me of how I've set up wherever I could when I wanted to do portraits. Shove the furniture away and then set up everything, then fold it all back up and stuff it in a closet until the next time.
    All this changed early this year when I realized that I could set up a permanent studio in my son's, now empty, bedroom on the second floor of my house. He now has a place of his own across town. My studio is 17' X 26' with an attached walk-in closet for equipment, a bathroom, and a make-up area in the hallway. I'm still adding lighting, etc. but I can use it in it's present state.

Often having to work around lots of filming equipment, but this camera is perfect for shooting silently at weird angles with IBIS, articulating screen, low weight and incredible autofocus.
