Oh cool! Did you see me at the concert? Haha - Simple Plan was amazing! They should of been a main stage event! I feel they put them on another stage to break up the crowd a bit and get people moving LOL. Are you going next year?
Those bands are basically my life growing up and still listen to them all on a regular basis. Lots of love from across the world in South Africa. Epic festival.

(for context - my best friend got VIP tickets for us to go next year, and I kinda want to know what the situation was like this year to mentally prepare hahah, since in 2022, VIP had a fenced section right in front of the stage)

The first year they really blocked most of the front for VIP but this year they changed that and let GA get to the front of the stage! You'll have a blast! Yes definitely! I never went to warped tour but I heard it was epic, did you go to warped tour?
You sure captured the excitement! How long was each band on for? There was a time when unauthorized cameras weren’t allowed at concerts. Here there might have been more cameras than people! Boy, that crowd sure knew all the words….
Thank you! Each band performed for 30 mins but the two headliners performed for 2 hours each. High quality news / media cameras aren’t allowed but cell phones are. The festival company have their own videographers as well that get up close and drone shots. Anyone with a cell phone filming is more advertisement for the festival so they love it! And yes everyone knew the words most of these songs played all over the radio in the early 2000s. 😍

They let people in before 11 on day three last year! (The one that was the final of the original three).
I was barricade the first year on that final day
Oh cool, ya I went on the second day, technically the first day because the scheduled first day got cancelled because of the wind. (Here's my vlog of last year's festival: czcams.com/video/dpNJUDOD3kM/video.html) So they were probably all screwed up from the cancellation the day before haha, but they only started ushering people in right at 11am! @@DeannaTroyTravels yeah, they were probably trying to fix some of the problems from the other day lol day three went really well though and I went both days last year and there wasn’t many problems.
I am not going next year because there’s a lot of repeat bands, and the ones that I want to see are coming probably to my home town .
I do keep going through my pictures and think about maybe going next year lol
If you get a chance go to the side shows I went to the sum 41 Plain White T’s and Bowling for Soup one and it was a blast

Hey! Yes they did, on the second day of the show they joined Magnolia Park for the Sugar Were Going Down Swinging cover! You may see them in this video but I think I only have a little bit on the song covered here which might not have them it in.
I wanted to go so bad this year but next year my hubs and I are definitely going. The first year was awesome!

@dukedoll1 I know right! This year Simple Plan was on a side stage, that blew my mind! They are the genre!! We really had to book it to make it to them!
Did you see kids there?? Would you take kids?
Yes I saw kids there! There was even a kid in a mosh pit at one time and everyone was very respectful. Just make sure they have earplugs or headphones to block out loud sounds. Also they may not last until the headliners at midnight haha
I’d rather poke my eyes out than endure a day of this absolute shite music. How sad for that generation that this is what they had for music.
To each their own. I'm sure people said the same thing about Woodstock back in the day.
