Does the video look a bit grainy to anyone? Did a test with a new handycam on this video, and think I need to tweak a few things.
Below are the links to all 15 videos filmed at this location. I made it into a series when I first bought the place:

Did all the snakes dissappear! Do you ever check for varieties! More digging please! I don't if know if you do! You should dig around the mail boxes, I'm sure over the years people and mail people drop change!
It's a key to a chest! Now you got to look for that hidden chest!
It doesn’t look grainy to me.
Looks good to me
JD, going in 🤣brah
Glad to see a young person having so much fun out in the fresh air finding something as insignificant as pennies.
I wish I had gotten into detecting years ago. We lived in Virginia for 20 in a house built in ‘86 but the community was much older I can’t imagine what I would of found there. Oh by the way I agree with you dad that is an Old Spice container there was a metal piece that went down in the hole. My daddy were it for years. Nice finds have a good day.
It's the Old Spice bottle they used in the 70s
They still use them today.
The best treasure on that property is hands down the 1996 Honda Accord. From this point it will only go up in value.
You could bury it for 100 years, dig it up and jump start it, it will purr like a kitten.😄
I remember the old spice bottles and it definitely does look fairly similar.
that would be my vote. My used Old Spice.
Definitely Old Spice. I believe that bottle was still in use up to the early 80’s.
Of all your houses, this one is definitely my favorite. I will miss doing the rehab on it. I had great plans for the workshop/apartment!
Hey Jim. I'd love to keep it and rent it out if this property wasn't so labor intensive. The good news is, I've used a lot of the existing materials and supplies to make an awesome workshop where I live. The timing was great for finding my new residence last spring, since I now have space to utilize everything. :)
Long and worth every minute of it. Thank you.
THAT IS AN OLD SPICE CONTAINER
First thing I said was old spice bottle from the 60s and 70s thanks for sharing 🪙🪙🪙🤘🪙🪙🪙🪙
I agree that white bottle is an Old Spice. My dad used that back in the day. Thank you so much for this video, JD. Really miss your videos and knowledge of coins.
JD the 1964 on those steps is a perfect date for finding Silver!
Yep. Gotta love 1964. Haha.
Yes. Old spice aftershave cologne. It had a plastic plunger that fit in the top. I used it when I was younger.
Hey J.D., when I was growing up I used to watch my dad take the pennies out of his pocket every night and toss them into the yard. The reason he said:"So tomorrow would be more money, you have to plant it so it would make big tree." Don't think he ever got rich, but we always ate. Some kind of tradition. I found if I save them I always have some pennies saved. Got lbs.
copper kills fungus....
Love these types of videos, you are a coin predator! 😀
Coinshooting is in my blood. Haha.
Old spice came in those bottles
I am so glad you finally found a silver coin!
Yes Old Spice came in milk glass bottles with an aluminium top and a plastic grey plug.
WOW...😮
✨WHAT A KOOL PROPERTY!! 😃
💁..So many awesome FINDS!!
that little jar.. may be a baby food container... 🤷
Watch out for snakes 🐍 that was an awesome 🗝 I think belongs to a chest! Awesome coins other relics thanks for digging!
The A.E. Hull Pottery Company in Crooksville, Ohio, made the earliest containers for Shulton from 1938 until 1944. And, up until the mid 1940s, all pottery products bore the Ship Grand Turk. The ship appeared on the bottles between the words "Old" and "Spice", which were in red script.
Thank-you!
I love the house and Property, but those overgrown boxwoods gotta go. If I lived in the area I’d be interested in buying. Love the channel, please keep it up.
Your videos always so interesting, thank you, happy new year to you and mom and Dad.
I’m pretty sure it’s old spice. My first and second husband used old spice. I loved the smell of it!
Yes that old crucifix was really cool kind of remind me of what I used to get when I was a kid from the Catholic schools
In yards, I always figure somebody was a smoker and used to empty their car’s ashtrays when they parked, so pennies and change got scattered that way. Maybe somebody dropped a couple of rolls of pennies and they got hit by a lawnmower?
Excellent video!! You have a beautiful property there, thanks for sharing. Watching from Jena Louisiana. Looking forward to your next home video
Very cool finds! Btw you're the best metal detecting youtuber, been watching your videos for a couple of years now so keep doing what you're doing :)
I believe your Dad is right on that bottle.
I really enjoyed watching this video. My house was built in 1900. I would love to find coins in my lawn. So fun!
I love watching your videos!
Wow, watched the whole video. You've got many interesting locations to uncover and explore. What a fascinating place!
I reckon I better make lunch for this one. That leaf blower is the $ 🤣
lol Chris. See if you can pick out the ReviewBrah reference. It's getting really bad. xD
Id say your scattered change is most likely from easter egg hunts in plastic eggs that may have got left or smashed over the years before 85
I thought the video was top quality. I have been following your path for some time and it is not just Metal detecting it is your story. I look forward to the journey continuing. A++++
wow...🙋 just awesome!
what a super KOOL VIDEO!!....🌞🤓👍
Yes old spice container ☀️😎
The large SUPRA-C padlock is actually a Lock Box and may contain keys or something else. it would be cool if you were to get it open and let us know what if anything is in it. try the old family name that was in the old concrete,
Silver quarter! Best yet. Hope you can make a good profit on the house when you sell it!
Hey JD, love the Navajo rug on the wall. Interested in passing it on to a collector?
Man this is a great house I love that it's so old and looks as great as it dose
Very beautiful property. Love the extra building with the apartment. Best of luck with what you decide to do with it.
Nice hunt! That's a lot of pennies!!
Old spice without a doubt, now find the red cap to it and I'll definitely be impressed
Hello J.D., Looked like a '45 D to me! Good finds, keep on pinging and digging, for sure! Dig 'em all, you never know what you're going to find. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 👍👍🙏🏻😇👊
P.S.: It looked like a clothing rivet! Oh btw, you're telling us you've found a new way to warm "buns"? Does that cross look as if it were attached to something curved (looked like nail holes at end points)? L8TR!!!
Keep on keeping on god bless and keep you safe young man

That concrete poured in 1964 .
Last year for many silver coins.
Did they seal a jar full of coins in those steps ?
Did you run your metal detector over the steps ?
Nice finds!
That bottle is definitely a Old old spice bottle I was a old spice user for years .
Cool love wheat pennies
Wheaties FTW !
Bro you are a real one keep up the videos !!!!
Looks good brother!
No. 100 ... "nailed" it !!!
The silver cap looks like a valve stem cap like on a bicycle
JD.... you should do a little research for one of the children’s original owner who might have resided at the residence in order to solve the mysteries of penny tossing. It would be great to find out as to why the penny tossing, Might be as Richard Beee’s father use to do....Hopes of planting money to make money.... Love your videos!
Jon, that is a huge amount of coins from that yard. Do you have plans to detect it some more?
Hey John. I'll try at least one more time. I've definitely found all the obvious targets after this hunt.
I can see some little kid breaking into his piggy bank and stuffing them in his pocket then running down to the Ice cream truck with a hole in the pocket and losing them along the way 😃
Finally! The new yard
What a great video thanks for sharing
Pennies from Heaven...how cool.

The date range for that jar can be found by its logo name style.
"B" loop, plane "a", and underline :
That style jar was made from 1933 to 1962 .

Looks like the other one broke when rain water got in it and froze.
I never understood why people handle bottles and jars then leave them in a position that rain can not drain out of them .
I also still have an oil tank but filling mine from about the 3/4 empty runs about $400 and I live in Roanoke Virginia.
There's a big mole digging up the yard his name is JD - LOL
I think maybe it’s the FPS that is off
Not sure, but I'll check. I do know these handcams only record in 720P. For some reason they all look slightly different regarding quality. It's weird. I'll try restoring to factory preset and see if that helps too.
The pennies....maybe they did a penny hunt with kids for fun. Kind of like an egg hunt. My Grandma used to hide pennies for us as kids.
Maybe the man that owned the home was a time traveller and planted all the coins knowing you would buy the property after he passed. He did have a classified military job did he not? : )
Back in the day my uncle used to buy houses and we would fix them up that there house you got is in better shape than any of the ones my uncle bought so you shouldn't have no problem fixing it up put some vinyl siding on the outside it'll make it look nicer and keep it warmer
Please don’t install vinyl ... it would ruin the historic look/feel and is definitely not period.
Vinyl is terrible the outside right now can be saved
Yes that's an Old Spice bottle
The cap looks like a stem cap for a inner tube
Nice house!!!
Wow, good dig.
What the heck did they do just take hand full of pennies and just toss them. Man that’s a lot of pennies. Nice looking place
Really looks like an Old Spice bottle 😊✌
Oil won’t be cheaper next year..... The name that won’t be said hates oil.
Yes it is a 1945 S wheat penny.
Your dad was right, that is definitely an old Old Spice bottle.
How would he find this? Were people habitually juggling coins as they walked around the perimeter of the house? Do you do that? Do you know anyone who does?
yes jd old spice bottle missing plug in the cap
As soon as I saw the white bottle it reminded me of Old Spice.
Can you explain how the detector works thanks
Is that a Herman Miller chair in the porch?
Yup, old spice bottle for sure!
For sure an old spice bottle. 50 60 70
What´s the reason that there are so many coins in your garden. I haven´t find anyone in mine.
Do you ever metal detect the bus stop around your area
I just got finished detecting when I saw this notification sweet
Right on! Hope you found some stuff. :)
That silver color 7" down cap, almost looks like a valve stem screw on cover. Before the toy gun comments. Jonesy
Old spice for sure 👍
Love that house and I was just wondering how much you would sale this house for
I'm going to be selling it this spring. Will be asking for around 100k.
Video quality a little off but not terrible
Yep. At least the audio was good. Now gotta figure the other stuff out.
Hud per to clean your coins it will it good
When you do put this house on the market, how much will you be asking for it ?
It'll be about 100k, give or take depending on what updates I do before listing.
Hi Ho , yes Old Spice bottle , it took a small plastic stem plug to reseal it , I use to use it .
I need to open it an see if it's still smells. lol
@@JDsVarietyChannel I do believe your a bit late lol but nice find on the silver quarter , all I've ever found has been silver dimes and a few rings , with lots of odds an ends .
Yes its an old old spice bottle my pap use to where it .
Even before you mentioned it i thought it looked like 1909 aswell, oh well
Can you tell me where you got treasure finder
Yes, Old Spice bottle
How did all those pennies get there
That’s definitely an aftershave old spice bottle.
All those pennies need to go into a tumbler.
Then the Indian Head penny that you syud was 1903 is actually 1902.
