Thanks again for this battery jumpstart video. Really helpful. I had to jump a knockoff dewalt battery tonight. I left it on a tool and the battery was totally dead. Parasitic draw maybe? Ryobi did that to me once. You think I would have learned by now.

Thanks for the update. I was literally messing around with the dead batteries and the charger on mine that just arrived today and this video notification showed up.
I also had two dead batteries, and for mine the simple jump did not work but I took them apart and did some custom charging, bypassing the BMS and now all is well.
There are four "security" screws and some fiddly bits, like all tool batteries. They seem generally well designed with decent build quality. One potential flaw: I didn't see balance circuitry on the BMS (but I could see only one side).
Looks like the BMS shuts down at about 2.5v/cell and the jump was unable to reach the cells. One battery had cells at 2.4v and 2.3v. Used bench power supply to charge the entire pack (bypassing the BMS) to about 17v, reassembled and it charged normally. I think it will be fine.
The other battery was grossly unbalanced with cells at 3.4v, 1.7v, 3.4v, 3.5v, 3.0v. I used the bench supply to charge the lowest two banks up to 3.5v. It charged normally and I used it a little bit. Seems okay. Cells down to 1.7v may have lost some capacity and I may take it apart again after a couple of cycles to see if it is holding balance.
Hope other people get better batteries, but maybe these vevor deals are all old stock. Still a great deal!

Mine arrived yesterday. Exact same thing. One battery no light. O ne battery with one green een light. This had to be done intentionally. Very very puzzling.

@TheStruggleville you forgot the traditional CYA "this is for entertainment purposes only anything you do is at your own risk" etc. for jumping the batteries.
Yes I've done it myself but, I'm not telling anyone to do it. It can make a difference though.

I bought 120 of them and every single one of them had one bad battery and one good battery. Makes no sense.
SHAME ON VEVOR, they knew damn well there was a problem with this junk, that's why they dropped the price and chose to dump it on their customer base which is no more for me. And, causing P.J. to do damage control.
Ive seen a LOT, I mean a LOT of Channels promoting Vevor stuff, on one, who usually repairs mowers,, I think he has to go slap his wife when he get a load of there stuff,, He thinks its GREAT,,
