David was special. Helped me thru some down years of my life in the late 70's!

So happy I could find his music again. Had his albums and saw him live when we were young.

So many wonderful memories of great Bromberg shows with his iconic M-42 Martin, and the wonderful years with Jerry Jeff. It’s been a joy to see him back out on the road. Thanks for post.

The first time I saw David play was nearly a half century ago when he was the guitar player in Jerry Jeff Walker’s band. The first time I saw him front his own band was in 78 or 79 when he opened for the Dead at the racetrack in Portland. I missed him those 20 years he wasn’t performing but I have had the pleasure of seeing him about 10 times in the last 10 years. He used to come to the twin cities regularly when he and Larry Campbell were both signed with St. Paul’s Red House Records before they sold out to a Nashville corporation.
