  • Top speed of the Yamaha NMAX 125. It's a fuel economic bike with just 9kW of power, so this top speed is still quite OK.

    But here in UK is not many "flat roads" - uphill is usually 80-90kph - downhill up to 122kph - fuel consuption urban - 3 l/100 kmh (90MPG)

    Hoi Amersfoort 81,
    Ik heb een beperkte ruimte in mijn schuur, en daarom kan ik een grotere scooter niet kwijt.
    Alvast bedankt, Aart uit Baarn

    my nmax 116km /h recently I put dr pulley rollers black pearl 9gr and now my Nmax his top speed is 110 km/h, I don't understand why the maximum speed has dropped, since the standard rollers are 10 grams and dr pulley rollers are designed so that it does not lose its maximum speed, any suggestions?

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  Před 3 lety +2

      With lighter rollers it should pull a bit faster and have a lower top speed. With heavier rollers it will pull less fast but has a higher top speed. But I don't know that much about tuning CVT's etc.

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  Před 5 lety

      Tough one.. the NMAX is able to go on the freeway, PCX maybe in the right conditions. Address 110 on the freeway? That would be scary. It is able to reach 100km/h and even a bit faster on speedo, but it is more for the city and rural roads. For my commuting I am planning on buyin the Address 110 though. Cheap in maintenance, does 46 kilometers on 1 liter of fuel (full throttle all the time) and I don't need to take the freeway. For that I have my other motorcycle and car. But I think the NMAX is the fastest of all three.

    das Model 2021schafft maximal 100 laut tacho, mehr geht nicht, ich vermute Euro 5 daran Schuld hat

      That might be possible, due to Euro5.

      @@MotoSnax in phillipines it is cheaper I don't know why

      Europe is more expensive than the Phillipines, but it is strange that the 155cc is cheaper than the 125cc. But maybe it has to do with licenses? Premium 125cc bikes are high priced over here too, especially compared to bigger bikes 300-400cc.

      Different country different standard price.
      For example MT 15 in Indonesia is about US$ 2521.65 and in Thailand is about US$ 3,237.35.
      So yeah, not fair to compare price from different place with their different variables.
      Even the driving license standard is different.

      @@MotoSnax IIRC starting from YZF-R25, most motorbike assembly for general market was handled by Indonesian subsidiary (YIMM) which make the price generally cheaper in SEA region.
      Other reason to consider is the safety and emission standard, which will affect the price until the entire lineup could be consolidated. I believe NMAX 125 is EURO 4-compliant and have mandatory ABS due to snow and stuff. Here ABS is optional and injection curve is a bit different compared to its European counterparts.
