  • Failure on the part of over 6000 Ghanaians to make good on their word and return home after the expiration of their US visas is the major reason many other colleagues of theirs are ‘bounced’ when they apply for visas to travel to the United States of America, US Ambassador, Robert P. Jackson has said.

Many foreigners come to Ghana and get Ghanaians passport so easily. Therefore, US classifies all the Ghanaian passport holders as Ghanaians in US. Ghana is just 27 million people which shouldn't be difficult for the US to give Genuine people visas

He said 15K Ghanaian are issued visas to the USA each year. You should have asked him how many are refused visas each year? How much does each person pay for visa fees and why do the keep the visa fees when they are denied visas?

Ghanaians had better have a good Reason to go to the USA,
Why allow another nation to insult you and deny you the right to travel to their continent.
This nation the USA behaves with impunity on the World Stage and gets away with it.
We gave that nation a large compound in our Capital City and the place is like US Suburb in the Middle of Accra for no Good reason and understanding.

Well, as long as it is not your country, they can sign any act to prevent you accessing (and I think by 2050 these restrictions will be back since there would be too much migrants running away from poverty by then)
So what can you do if they decide to ban you from visas.
Only choice is getting citizenship by investment or family.
Tourist and Students visas will just be denied because there is absolutely no west african who would only visit America and come back home two weeks later empty handed.
Those who can do that don't even ask for visas ...
Work hard and smart in ghana and get your money.
Buy house in us from 200k usd minimum and get your us passport, forget East Legon, with the us passport you can get us loans to buy 10 houses in Osu or start a family with an american woman who really loves you as you are, life is simple
