@@jokerproduction "fresh cut" fries actually kinda suck if you have had REAL fries that have been soaked to remove the starch. the outside burns from the starch before the centers even get fully cooked. fries need to be cooked at least twice, not once. they need to be parcooked first at low temp to actually cook the potato first, then fully cooled (ideally frozen but not necessary) and then fried again at high temp to crisp the outside. five guys has the absolute worst fries of anyone. trashers is better because they dont let their friends burn in the oil (but can be hit or miss still) like five guys but there is still a lot of room for improvement. cutting a potato and immediately dumping it in oil isnt the way to make fries.
@Acolis five guys fries are fantastic and they 100% rinse the starch off and double fry them. They have special sinks that tumble the fries around to rinse that starch off too so no idea what you're basing any of your nonsense on.

Nah I’ve been going to ocean city for all my life and I think Thrashers is crazy overrated. These fries are good but they’re not THAT good. Like sure they’re a good boardwalk snack sure, but I don’t think they’re THE god-tier fries.
Its insane how good these are. Usually fires are just okay but these are insanely good

hear hear!!
It's better than vinegar
Everyone here knows that. Don't worry. It's ok to start new traditions.

Now living in the Midwest I sure do miss Thrasher’s fries.
I remember Thrashers as a kid. I remember them using balsamic vinegar though back in the day. Whatever they put on them, they are awesome.
I just moved to the OC area and these videos have been a nice way to find things to try. Thanks for putting it out!

Best fries ever! I like them with old bay seasoning also!
Understood, but I'm bringing my Heinz Ketchup.
I've been living 45 minutes from ocean city all my life and I cannot fathom what people see in it. Thrashers is fine.
It wasnt Thrashers but we had Boardwalk Fries up in Hunt Valley and I'm pretty sure I lived on them and Dream Machine for 2 full years.
PEANUT OIL! That's how you know it's FIRE!!!
Went in January and it was amazing...
So i see that five guys modeled their fries after these, i can only imagine how these taste 🤤

But I mean actual mayonnaise, not the sugar added crap you find in the USA.
alright

its vinegar thats leftover from making apple cider, not apple cider

no sauces?thats poor.look how they do it in belgium.
