@@elaineedgar2913 he's alright i should add the chronic screaming noise in my ears all the time. means that i need things a bit more steady than you might get with maybe a more dramatic feel.. with a single reader it's more likely to have less dynamic range.. if that makes sense Stephen fry and Michael sheen are good, but can both be over dramatic.. hugh is more steady 🙂 but there are plenty...
I find these radio dramas better than then tv version. Since they ares both manned by the great david jason, the radio more raw and the language more stret appropriate to the sometimes trerible crimes, methinks
Is the music at 1.30 inserted to drown out details of the post mortem? Whatever, it’s horrible to listen to. I felt not ok listening to it and switched off.
