Completely ruined half way through by first piano music drowning out the dialogue and then a whining female singing over the dialogue. How and why did that happen?

Very enjoyable play, ridiculous inflatable plot twist I think characters snooty but overall and enjoyable play. Very intriguing. Everybody bitching about of the music in the middle just fast forward past it. It’s not even a minute in duration. People bitch about inconsequential trivial things. The music took absolutely nothing away from the content. Everybody get over it move on

Why the music towards the end ? It spoilt it for me.

Key parts of the drama were unable to be heard due to an over-dub of music. Very frustrating.

The narrator--Whately, is the original Lewis in the series Inspector Morse. John Thaw may not have been alive at the time of the audio recording--I get it though.

John Thaw has a very profound and varied acting career. I have watched the series when he was a sargeant military investigator. Thanks for the audio upload!

Dreadful music. Was it in place of dialogue? We seem to be missing a logical plot link, but I can't point it out without committing a spoiler, so I'll leave it to you to find the impossible leap made in the plot.
