    Marcus - thanks for these lessons - you are the easiest to follow and your information is very well presented - saved me a ton of time sifting through other Cubase instructors' stuff! Thanks again!

    I beg to differ about your comment about a lack of documentation - after running a search in the Cubase online help, 39 hits were returned when searching for - project and logical and editor

    Hi Marcus, many thanks for this tutorial on the PLE. : ) I now know how to create a command to show/hide individual Folders, and show/hide individual Tracks, but I still don't know how to create a command to include both. For example, an individual Folder called 'Drums' and an individual Track called 'Organ', which is inside a different Folder. I've tried many variations, but I'm still drawing a blank. All I want is to be able to mix up what I see on screen, e.g., specific Folders and specific Tracks. Please can you help as I'm sure I'm missing something simple. : ) Many thanks, Darren (Wales, UK).

      It can be done, but if your project is has A LOT of tracks and folders, it can start getting messy building a PLEs for this.
      If I understand correctly - you just want to be able to show/hide specific folders (like the Brass folder or Winds Folder ) that contain instrument/midi tracks.
      But also want to be able to show specific instrument tracks?

      @@PoundSound Hi Marcus. Yes, I've created two PLE presets that work well on their own showing specific folders or individual tracks, but they don't work together in a Macro. The second preset in the chain always seems to cancel the first and only that one gets actioned, e.g. only tracks are shown, not folders, or vice versa. I just want to be able to see a mix of things but I feel like I'm missing something simple and can't figure it out. : ):

    I like the skin of Qbiz and the colors of the tracks Where can I get it or you can send it to me 😍

    • @PoundSound
      @PoundSound  Před rokem +1

      It's the default skin, I just changed the project window's backdrop to a grey / white. The option for this is in the Edit > Preferences > User Interface > Colour Schemes. As for the instrument tracks, those are my own colours. Which can be found on the website ;)

    It takes longer to program logical editor bullshit than just doing things manually....

      Sure the PLE sucks work with, but invest a little time setting up custom keycommands and you will save time compared to clicking through menus, especially if you use a lot of advanced functions or need to create a specific workflow with custom commands to perform functions you can’t do using the default commands. Depends on what the goal is though.

      @@PoundSound I guess im too stupid, I have tried a couple of times and sometimes it doesnt do anything I ask it to buecause I probably setup one thing wrong and I have no clue what and ... ah :D

      @@BlazonStoneDon't be silly, just takes a little time to learn, that's all. The general jest of it is;
      Target filter section = Hey Cubase, I want you to look for x-y-z and show me you found it by selecting / deselecting it.
      for example: I want you to look for a track name, or track type and select it.
      Action Section = Hey Cubase, I want you to perform x-y-z to it.
      for example: I want you to change it's name, or open it, close it, move it etc...
      Just try doing some basic commands, and soon as you wrap your head around it, you'll be building new ones in no time.
