Excellent fun - really enjoyed that! Once again the rangers were saved by their seemingly much more capable hirelings - looking forward to when they realise this and form their own adventuring band and hire the Rangers as their help!
Good enough looking game. Not sure how much longevity it will have though. I think once the novelty of the co-op play in small narrative missions wears off it’d become just a dice rolling contest. I suspect it would appeal to folks as much into D&D as they are wargaming.

@@7thson726 Yeah, I wasn’t so much talking about the longevity of the rules themselves, rather from a personal (e.g. repeat desire to play). The fact that the rules are mini agnostic is often referenced as a positive, and it is, BUT that’s all well and good IF you already have the figures. All JMC games are also very demanding in terms of requirements, especially terrain and monsters, again, great if you have it all already, bit of a mission to go and get it all if you don’t and essentially for a move, roll a D20, move, roll a D20. I’ve often pondered dabbling with one of the Grave games but for me there just isn’t enough of a game there to justify all the stuff I’d need given it’s not a scale or type of game I regularly play. I know folks who love the Grave games though, it’s all down to personal taste and circumstance really.
