I bought the copa recently, and I honestly haven’t had any problems with it. It fits my foot well, and i feel faster on the pitch
Personally, I thought the SensePods we're great. Best heel lockdown in any shoe I've ever had. They felt soft, I could not feel any pressure points from them. Unfortunately the sides of the forefoot were pressure points for me. I was actually surprised how narrow the boot felt even going with my normal shoe size as Adidas usually run wide for me. This coming from a very old pair of Tiempo Classic boots.
How have they lasted I think the copas just look more durable than the tiempos

For me personally I've got to say that the Adidas Copa Sense .1 are the best football boots I've ever used !! They just fit my foot PERFECTLY like they are literally made around my foot. So I really wouldn't take anyone else's opinion on football boots because nowadays everything is just based on a personal opinion...

Hello do you think you could use the Hypervenom phantom 1-2 soleplate on artificial grass safely if it’s the modern type of ag?
Super helpful review, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with heel problems in the copa. For me it doesn't even cause blisters, just scrapes off the skin starting after about 50mins of playing. The lack of actual leather was also surprising, the seam is really visible when the boots get wet.
I've never had very good fit in Nikes, but I'll go try to find a pair of Tiempo's to see if I can get back to playing without losing heel skin!
I would recommend the Mercurials if they're not out of your price range. The $250 ones are truly worth it. And if they're out of your budget, the $140 Mercurial Superfly 8s and Vapor 14s are also great cleats.
can't wait to buy the tiempo as they the way the padding is setup, it looks like my favourite boots which are the ctr360's.
Hopefully we can have a good modern leather boot from adi next year.
I’ll stick to my copa 19+, enough leather for me and super comfortable.

Copa has always been my favorite, most comfortable shoe experience. Having seen this video, will try the Tiempos when my sense+’s wear out. I do feel this video may be a bit biased but still curious enough to peep the Nikes for the next round and make a judgement then.

I just got those copas and the memory foam in the heal is not as bad as he makes it seem, I really like the cleats.

does anyone know how often nike releases new colorways? I really like the tiempo legend 9 but don't really like this colorway.
Once in every 2-3 months for many different colorways which the majority won't be worn by the pros.... but for the colorways that pros wear,they won't release one until January.. so yeah this current colorway of the legend 9 would be on the feet of the pros till January
I bought the copas and weirdly enough I didn't find them uncomfortable in any way, hell I've got them on rn as I'm typing this. I did get a blister on the bottom of my big toe but I'm pretty sure that was because of the socks I was wearing in the match. If I got a choice between both of these in the outlet store I bought them in I would choose the TL9 but I got the copas on a 60% discount so I can't complain.

I brought a pair of copas sense.1 and they have given me horrible blisters I have tried to send them back and they just say they are the wrong size even tho I have had previous gen copas in the same size
My Tiempo Legend Elite (the model/colourway you are wearing) came in with dreadful quality control. The attachment of the sole plate to the boot looks like it will come apart in a week. Very disappointing for a top level model and I'm now hesitant to order another pair after returning these.
It seems like its always a problem with the brand new tiempo series when it comes out. I had the same problem with tiempo 6,7 and 8. However, as the aftermodel comes out, I guess it becomes more solid. Ive always claimed through nike if the cleats that were in poor condition after wearing only for few months. Normally, if its the highest level model, nike will accept your claim and give you store credit to order a new cleat.

Copa’s are great if they fit perfectly, but the slightest bit off, they are terrible (very unforgiving). The major flaw however with Copa is the line between kangaroo and fusion leather. Mine ripped really quickly (only 2 months). Excited by Tiempo 9, particularly being slightly wider.

I bought these tiempos based off these rave reviews. Wore them once, found them rock hard and quite clumsy, with loads of slippage. Swapped them out for an old pair of lethal zones.
Bro do you know how tiempo’s and most new leather boots work? They usually don’t feel good out the box but after several hours of using them they mold to your feet and feel really nice. Obviously they won’t feel good at first cause it hasn’t broken in yet
@@Eyen yeah I’ve had 2/3 pairs of Tiempos over the years but always go back to preds, for me they’re just better boots. I’ve worn these a bunch though now and they do soften slightly but the sole plate isn’t very comfortable and I’ve gone back to preds 👍

Are they good boots, yes. Are they similar to the Phantom 3s, not really.

They really don't. Beyond the use of memory foam, they really don't have anything in common when it comes to feel and experience.

My reasoning for my request; if ever comes up. I bought the Tiempo Legend 8 Academy edition and though they do feel nice.. They didn't feel as durable as the reviews i watched told me.. after 2 trainings and 1 game, I could already see the boot was beginning to actually "take damage" just from those 3 times i wore them... I eventually switched back to my old boots for the remainder of the season because I didn't feel comfortable wearing them.. So if you maybe could make a nice elite vs pro vs academy etc. with the new ones, that would be so great

hey josh, i’m planning on buying a pair of boots for fg and ag. For fg i chose the vapor 14 elite and i really love the future z 1.1 which i’m looking for as an option for ag as the branding says it can be used on? do you recommend buying the future z for ag?
He’s said that you should by the MG version for AG. The FG/AG is really just an FG boot. He has a video comparing the Puma MG vs FG/AG stud pattern.
The fg/ag studs on futute z are rounded but kinda too long imo. I have the ultra 1.2 with MG studs (same as MG studs for future z). Choosing MG stud is one of the best decision i have ever made. But yeah i gotta get another boots for FG.

I really don't find there to be that much if a difference. The Legend 8 definitely feels a little tighter, and arguably more secure, but you don't notice that much at all when cutting in the boots. At least I didn't find there to be a dramatic difference.

Yup, just like normal socks.
Machine wash cold and air dry, that’s the way I’ve found them to last the longest.

Where I am you can wear metal and round plastic studs just not blades on artificial grass so you should be able to wear normal boots.
@@fdcx1852 That's not common at all. Metal studs are prohibited on most artificial pitches. Also I believe, the risk of injury would be pretty high.

The tiempo legend 9 is finally a K leather boot on the market that looks great, competes with the Morelia neo and is budget wise within reach for the every day man who plays on weekends (I get that a lot of people don't want to lay this much money either but very few amateurs can justify buying MIJ mizunos). And unlike a pair of made in Japan mizunos this is readily available.
Just like to say also that looks wise there is no comparison between these two. The TL9 is a sleek, traditional, and great looking ballers boot wheras that Adidas thing is absolutely hideous. Especially with those detail lines. Gross
Tiempo doesn't compete with the Morelia Neo, which is more of a speed boot and has way less leather. It competes more with the Morelia or the Rebula.
Are they as good for wide feet though? Genuine question.
