Salpa - Salpa is an amazing stabilizer for bags. Made out of veg tan leather shavings and natural fat and latex for binding, it is supple, pliable and strong! It has amazing recovery and doesn't crease like kraftex.

If you don't have selpa , could you use decovil?
Hi there, here is the designers recommendations - if you have Decovil Light on Hand I'd go with that over Kraft-Tex. Kraft-Tex is made of paper and is NOT supple like Salpa.It has a bit of cardboard feel and is also prone to wrinkle. (And the wallet flap bright break down over time with kraft-tex) Do you have Decovil light on hand? While DV Light is not as supple as Salpa, it is at least a stabilizer with some body,, whereas Kraft-tex is actually meant to be used as a fabric even though it is .55mm. Having said all of the above, if you don't have Decovil Light, then just use what you have. But at some point when you are ready, you will reply enjoy working with Salpa. And should give it a try--I think you will like it. Happy Sewing.

Don’t use a Sharpe. I learned the hard way it can run. Maybe a paint or fabric pen could be better?
I didn't have any issues with it, but being extremely careful whatever you use is critical!!

I use colored sharpies all the time on my sanitizer holders and no problem at all! I’ve had my own sanitizer I made since Covid started and its still looking great. No bleed, no fade and its precise when you put it on the vinyl edges! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

yes it does... see the pattern for various vendors. Salpa is a brand name
