- French smash hit Netflix original “Lupin” has taken the world by storm and become one of the most-watched Netflix Originals released in years. Season Three of “Lupin” just came out about a week ago, and quickly found itself topping the global most-watched charts.
Based on the iconic French character Arsène Lupin popularized in Maurice Leblanc’s many novels and novellas, this show manages to both pay homage and modernize the source in a ways I didn’t know possible.
