- Check out this awesome '69 Camaro tribute car driven by Brad Smith and dedicated to and formerly owned by one of his best friends and mentors, Mike Heintz. When Mike passed away, his family decided there was no better candidate to take ownership of their car and were happy to have Brad race it in his memory. While there are still some bugs to be sorted out, Brad has no intention of giving up and will pull out all the stops to get this car down the drag strip.

I remember Mike Heinz from running the Gatornationals in the 1980's. What a super guy. Thank you for honoring Mike & his memory.

That's a lot of gear for a 427. That thing has to be turning about 8200 in the 1/8th.
yeah, thats a pretty stiff gear for a powerful car.
It’s just getting going at 8,200. We buzzed it to 9,200 on the hub dyno with Lyle Barnett at modern racing in Mooresville.
