I’m 34 years old. I fell in love with anime at about 8 years old. I have never stopped loving everything nerdy like anime, sci-fi, high fantasy, etc.
Never neglected your youth
This video inspired me. I’m in my early 20’s still pretty young but I still collect One Piece and Dragon Ball figures because One Piece and especially DB got me through hard times in my childhood with the big weight and expectations on me to “Grow up.” Now that i’m an adult i’ve learned to ignore outsiders who judge me for my hobbies.
You can like whatever you want, till whatever age you want. Great Job keep up the good work.

I've been watching DBZ since I was 3 years old and i've been watching your dbz toy videos since High School I used to watch your videos on my Wii thats how long I've been watching 😂 i've also interacted with you on a few occasions you are a really nice down to earth person keep being you Goshin because we all love you, you definitely helped me to feel inspired about toy collecting again and most of all helped me feel less ashamed about it because during High School especially I was picked on for my interests so I stopped opening up about it for awhile but i kept watching your videos and eventually i stopped caring what these people think I work now and I'll bring plushies or figures with me to work sometimes it brings me comfort, i brought Goku in Shus gi with me once and some of my colleagues actually thought he was quite cool because they liked DB and DBZ too. I'm now 27 but I still love cartoons, Anime, games and toys. They make me happy and I don't understand why people have to be mean about these things when there causing no harm to no one.
Ironic. This is exactly what I needed because of everything that had happened to me the past few months. Always be inspiring the fellow Sayians Goshin!
I'm so glad you made this video, youre so positive. I try NOT to change myself because of what i like. Who cares what other people think!? I have my hobbies, i have things that make me happy. That's all that matters to me now that I'm an adult! Just be yourself and continue to be you..for eternity. :)

I definitely felt this way for a while with anime. But I've gotten over it & a ton of my co workers actually share the interest with me
Excellently well said Steph. Kudos to you for staying true to who you are as an adult regardless of society's expectations and standards of what adults should or shouldn't do with their time. I've had my fair share of being shamed/judged for being an adult who cosplays. For example, 12 years ago some guy left a CZcams comment on my Raging Blast 2 unboxing video and said to me that how can he take me seriously because i still play Dragonball Z dress ups. I gave him a piece of my mind. I hate the "Put Away Childish Things" mentality that some folks have especially because them telling any grown person to' "Put Away Childish Things" is like trying to extinguish the light of someone and take away the good things that gives some grown adults joy.
Those with no light in them want to extinguish it in others. Takes courage to shine in a dark world. Dragon Ball Represent!!

English is not my language, but I understand (I suppose) the message of the video. In my job, I know many men raised under the classic "macho" law of the 70s and I am the complete opposite. I was raised without machism. I have heard that they consider me weak and gay. I'm not going to lie: it's uncomfortable to be the opposite of the majority. You feel judged all the time, like being yourself is so bad that you should change. They have never been able to change me to their liking. I don't think I've won a "culture battle", but I'm sure they haven't defeated me yet.

I feel you should do what makes you happy. As long as you're taking care of your business. And still have enough money left over to enjoy. Then you should spend the money on the stuff you like.

Since I known abt DBZ for a long time as so as my brother I still remember he played Dragon Ball games and did some fighting modes when we used to have Xbox 360 and PS2 and there was one thing when I was on a trip this guy saw my Vegeta shirt and said he loved it and made a cosplay of him, absolutely insane. But you are a good DBZ person and just keep being a greatest collector. 👍
