why is it from 9 hours ago though @Stratzenblitz75
Minmus orbits at 47,000 km?
I thought it was in the millions?
Next Is gonna be mun ;)
@@notfunny3397 Its 47 million meters, which is 47 thousand Km
The rcs on the pole thing makes it clickbait but still worth watching
You know you’re really hitting some limits when the ship ONLY works with timewarp
1.1k likes and NO comments???? Wow
2nd

We can go further
0:55 "less of a rocket and more a piece of heavy artillery" to go to a moon
_Jules Verne is watching_
Ayy a man of culture
Ugh, why did you have to bring my memories from 7th grade... UHH
haha moon cannon go brr
Gerald Bull is in awe
@@disconneck1363 Awesome book.
Q: What's the most efficient landing strategy? Suicide burn? Constant altitude descent? Gentle orthopedic readjustment?
Stratzenblitz: Pogo stick
Pogo stick
Pogo sticc*
@@XxsniperxelitxomegaxlmaoxOwOxX yes
@@XxsniperxelitxomegaxlmaoxOwOxX "um, actually 'stick' is grammatically correct" -🤓
I got that "Orthopedic readjustment" from 1.3 ton Minmus land. :)
Stratz: *Raises white flag*
Minmus: "ah, he's surrendering" *sighs*
Stratz: "Flag goes B O I N K"
BOINK, go to the Kraken jail !
A ship has arrived from Malta!
Imagine the developers watching this video in a conference room on a video projector. The video ends, lights come back on. Everyone is silent. Then one of them flips the table and storms out of the room. End scene.
Nah, this is KSP working exactly as intended.
LOL
A mission where Stratz doesn't land back on the VAB? *I M P O S S I B L E*
Well, he did with the larger vtol craft
@@zhuolixie5922 Sort of landed. It's subjective.
Stratz: Precisely lands a scarcely guided artillery shell on the smallest and most distant moon of Kerbin
Also Stratz: 6:55
Awesome video, and really well edited with some gorgeous shots!
@@jamesmnguyen Hey, if you can walk away it is a good landing.
@@yastreb. and if you can use the vehicle again the next day, it's an outstanding landing.
2021: jool 5 with only decouplers
2022: Jool 5 on 1 ton w/ the only impulse being provided by one tank of Kerbal EVA fuel
2023: every planet and back with 1 kerbal’s EVA pack
2024: Interstellar travel with only the half on an EVA Pack
@@hamburgerhamburger4064 I've actually seen that done except with refueling stations
@@_colonial_ holy shit can you give a link to it ?
I was the one who suggested that timewarp would decrease the timestep and therefore increase the force on Stratzenblitz video "Engineering a LIGHT-SPEED mass driver". Right now i feel the most smug i have ever felt lol.
I didn't think it would work, but it turns out it works exactly as you predicted. 4x time warp literally multiplies the impulse by 4, which greatly reduces the number of decouplers you need. That said, it still sucks. Instead of an effective ISP of 10 s, you get 40 s, which is still very low.
@@Stratzenblitz75 lol thats almost the lsp of sepratrons
So you went to Minmus with an artillery gun, landed with a pogo stick, reentered in a glorified tarp. Nice
- Mom, can we get an Orion project?
- We got Orion project at home.
Orion project at home:
i found you
I'm just imagining nuclear bombs as decouplers now.
@@ananttiwari1337 hello
3:33 Thank you for using the Flag Lithobraking method I found!
Ok
Ok
So you found it first? Good job!
this guy broke the world record of uhh what was it oh for going to eeloo with the lowest mass
Ah yes, the Tylo ORB lander
I'm currently trying to get a heavily modded KSP to start while watching this, and the KSP crash jumpscare at 3:53 had me terrified
"The airlock has high heat tolerance and drag that can make us come down safely." Proceeds to pull 15+ G.
Solid State Kerbals go *Brrrr*
"A kind of crazy encounter with Kerbin" is a funny way to say direct collision course. 5:37
and "allows it to slow down safely" *accelerometer instantly goes +15G*
My large vessels in phys-timewarp: "Well yes, but actually NO."
Stratz: HAR HAR, KRAKEN SAYS HI
Artemis program on a budget, lol, it's already on budget
@@Kanikeda well its nasa so
@@monandlon1 it's not nasa the problem, it's congress and the entire american goverment system
@@OrangeKnight No, well, yes, congress is made up of retards with double citizenships, but NASA is not innocent either. If private companies like Space X can achieve more in less than a decade with less budget, then NASA has no excuses. Billions invested on long range satelites (which I don't complain about) instead of developement of a manned mission to...anywhere. Add to that a general lack of main objective and you have NASA. The SLS has no reason to exist if space X manage to build their heavy variant with similar payload and being beyond less expensive.
@@virgilio6349 it's true that nasa invests a ton of money into science and spacex is only focusing on infrastructure. Spacex also have a ton of money thanks to the falcon 9 and now thanks to crew dragon
Bold of you to assume Boeing has cared about the budget
Okay, you have to admit this one requires ALL of the physics tricks.
No it doesn't use the heatshilds with high lift to drag ratio.
I'm trying to minimize my use of exploits when I can. Obviously, the lithobraking and decoupler physics are exploits, but I did not use any aero exploits for this mission. If I were using say the heat sheild offsetting trick, I wouldn't need 2 stages to get to Minmus: I could reach escape velocity from the launchpad without overheating.
Also, didn't use part clipping for once!
@@Stratzenblitz75 its not an exploit, just call it Rapid Scheduled Disassembly
The VTOL crafts at the beginning and especially the end were super slick.
0:42 - Valentina: Woosh, i'm gone
This is like the ship concept where nuked are dropped behind the ship to provide thrust.
Just a casual 80g impact. You'll be right Val.
if the starting procedure hasnt turned her in to a pancake, nothing will.
Kerbols are quite durable
John Stapp would be jealous
Loving the new mic
What mic did you get? It is crisp! :)
@@MattGilmourMusic if I remember correctly he has an AT2020
i just want you to know that your videos of badassery and feats of amazingness within this game motivated me to keep trying ever more risky things in this game. i was hesitant to try launching a rover to Duna or to set up a space station in orbit around Kerbin but seeing your videos with you sending a low-kerbol orbit artificial gravity station out to orbit the sun and then you sending a HELICARRIER TO LAYTHE helped motivate me to try, and by trying i managed to do it, and now i've got even more ambitious ideas. thank you for being such an absolute god at this game and for motivating me to try and do cooler things
You built an interplanetary pogo stick you absolute madman
Dude, i just wanted to say watching your videos during online calc gives me life. Also your videos are so amazingly paced that i can watch it in 2x speed and nothing feels off, like the timing wasn't right because it was 2x speed
This is the Kerbal equivalent of the Artillery only challenge.
That very last scene is so beautiful.
Pure insanity, just as I like it. Thank you for the video!
amazing :D poor valentina tho, 142 G-s must have hurt a bit
Stratzenblitz's videos got 2x better with narration.
Thank you!
I love that this is essentially the KSP equivalent of D&D's peasant railgun
Nobody:
Stratzenblitz on Munmus: *B O I N G*
"Drain valves to orbit"
Omg yes
It's not that crazy, actually, just wastefull, they've got more twr then ion engines.
Loved the Landing at the end :D
And thank you for the great videos
That moment when you realize all "burns" take just a literal moment.
Loved the vtol at the end
Stratzenblitz75:giant piece of artillery
Me: 90s balklins songs intensify.
Litho-breaking is a very funny concept. "What are we going to use to slow our descent?" "Rocks."
Your Videos are just always this smooth and polished, keep it up, really great work! 👍
the man is crazy. what can i say.
I love that the solution to slowing down is just a giant poko stick
i love how he picks them up
you gotta love how he bled 400 m/s with...

While everyone tries to get to Minmus and back without decouples,
This talented engineer tries to get there with nothing but decouples...
What a badass. Just does the impossible, lands in the dessert and a drone just shows up to pick lil homie up.
Suggestion: Make a HUGE space station and send it into Kerbin orbit with only decouplers. Great video!
perfect landing at the end
Look how much the space program in kerbin has evolved, thats is astonishing!!
This is really cool
5:42 That visual glitch is amazingly beautiful
WOW Stratz, you are simply amazing! You surprise us more after each video, after seeing this, the eve's 1.5 tons SSTO, and the Jool's land video, I don't doubt that any that you can post a video with the title: "Landing on the sun and coming back with only 10 tons and decouplers" haha, you're awesome!!
amazing
very good
So I finally made it to duna, how are you doing?
Stratzenblitz75: Oh you know i'm just traveling through worm holes using my big brain math.
I liked the pogo stick landing.
Next week in Stratzenblitz75:

11/10 vab landing
this is stupid, absurd, and I absolutely fucking love it.
love the felix baumgartner final stage
Recently every time you post a new video I watch it shaking my head in disbelief lol keep it up
That thing was too big to be called a rocket.
Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a large hunk of iron
Get the!
alternate title: valentina gets to minmus with a super charged pogo stick
Me: there’s no way stratzenblitz gets out of this one
Stratzenblitz about to talk about flags: I’m gonna do what’s called a pro gamer move
As cool as this trick was holy hell that vehicle at the beginning and the one at the end are really neat
those are some beautiful crafts! And I love the first one: A lovely, compact glider that only has upwards thrust
Dang.. I'm impressed. You got yourself a well deserved sub!

Valentina multitasking by lithobraking and planting the flag at the same time.
6:15 - and flags. and airlocks. and quicksaves
Stratzenblitz:

'Can't land a vtol on the vab properly
4:17 Kerbin is having a solar eclipse!
Crazy.
True staging
Should I say "May the Kraken be with you" or "May the Kraken be ever in your favor"?
the new flag parts are OP. I've used them as wings due to the lift they create, and they have infinite heat tolerance. Might want to try them out. Even used them as a heatshield.
Giant slingshot. That would crush its occupants wouldn't it? Or does the warp thing keep that from happening?
"Less a rocket and more a piece of heavy artillery"
You now have the attention of the ghost of Gerald Bull
Big oof on the plane landing at the end
I swore I was closer than I actually was :p
I miss the Cinematic Videos Like the( Duna and back using ONLY electric power and Xenon!) , For real That was one of the Best Videos I ve ever seen!! , The Editing, 80s SOundtrack, Cinematic Just BreathTaking , U rock Bro!
Thank you! I love to make cinematics, but they haven't done well on the channel recently and so I can't justify the large time investment for the time being. That said, I still want to make more!
@@Stratzenblitz75 i feel u mate, its a Shame the majority doesnt appreciate so much . It was really Nice watching It back then. Thanks for the reply ! keep up the awesome work!
