Here’s a fun project from the archives: creating a chameleon cell heart on a solid white background. How? With the help of an airbrush!
Chameleon cells are a really fun painting technique. You start by swiping layers of color together, then force the cells to come up by poking the paint with a toothpick dipped in silicone oil!

Thanks! Haha you’ll notice that the two sides weren’t identical… I had to add some extra cells on the outside of the first one to make the sides match!

In theory you don’t, but I found that actual airbrush paint came out more smoothly than what I mixed myself.
