Straight to the product and review. I just wanted to name a few characteristics compared to the other Tech CZcamsrs out there.
Yes. But sadly people like the "fluff" stuff that you are referring. That's why MKBHD is way more popular even though it's DetroitBorg whose reviews are neutral and focus on the core information rather than judgments.

I got the 65" B8 for 2000€. As I watch movies and game in dark, the black levels are more important than blinding brightness in very lit scenes. Only drawback is the HDMI 2.0b, which doesn't support 12-bit 4k above 30Hz. DolbyVision and Atmos support were also big factors for me.

I just watched your video on my 65 inch C8 paid for another warranty and a few hundred bucks because my Lg ec9300 got burned in. Was so bummed I loved the 3d on that set. I miss Oled passive 3d, I could push a button and turn lots of stuff into a different picture. I've got tons of cool 3d movies, hopefully someday Lg will bring that back to there Oled line. 3d Oled is something special.

I use my LG OLED C6 in 65 inches from 2016 every single day, mostly for local news and sports. I will upgrade once Apple is ready to release their own LCD/OLED/MicroLED big screen television, hopefully sometime this year.

Hi, i have an Lg TV and an Lg soundbar too but more from the low end section not the high end as you have. May i ask you please advise what connection is better for sound quality the optical or the hdmi high speed ARC port?

I recently bought the B8 55” and love it. I wish they could do a hdmi 2.1 firmware update just for VRR but I know it’s not going to happen on the 2018 sets.

Great visuals and fairly discounted Television and i hear LG ThinQ models are going to push out AppleTV-Plus into LG app store in the autumn season, when that comes out i would love to see a review of that from a creators intend.

Gorgeous tv It will be interesting to see if micro led can live up to the hype because as time goes on oled will get better just like plasma did I’m still using my 20 year old Samsung plasma I guess I’ll up grade when I can get a 8k oled or micro led

I ask cause I bought my current Sony W905 there and got it wayyy cheaper than in Germany (I think over 400€) back then. Even drove 1 1/2 hours each direction, was still more than wort it. Some guys in the Netherlands really offer good deals. Wouldn't by an 8 series LG OLED now though. The 9 series offers HDMI 2.1 and with that alone is just more future proof.
I paid £1799 for 55B6V 2016 model 2 years ago. Got caught up in the hype. Still hurts. Good TV though.
Apparently, HDMI 2.1 is not needed at the moment unless you buy an 8K T.V. But yes I do agree about being future proof, and that.

Personally I would have save a grand on the c8 and got an atmos sound bar, the differences between this and the c8 are next to none. With that said I love my 65" c8!
What picture mode do you watch hdr 4k movies in? And what mode did you have calibrated
You forget the C8 witch has the same spec as E8 expect the speakers are mounted front facing on the E8 but down on the C8.
I always love the Magic Remote cause its easy to use like a WiiMote.
