I love the realization on Flik’s face while he’s talking to Hopper.
“… and you know it… don’t you?”
Before hopper knocks him to the ground and attempts to squish him
Flik: Ouch 🤕
He hit a nerve lol
Me: I'll give you "ouch". (slaps him) THAT'S FOR YELLING AT DOT!
Flik was hesitant like he wasn't supposed to say that. But he can't take it back anymore so he just continues
As a kid I never fully appreciate how badass Flik was in this movie, until I was a teen and rewatch this with my baby cousins, I really understand the bravery to overcome the physically and emotionally pain and stand up to the bullies
I feel the same way
Yep that’s why Flik has a pure good light heart and it was his heroism that inspired his people to stand up against the tyrant’s grasshoppers indeed and that’s when Hopper lost his army and got defeated by Flik brain power because brains trail’s over brawn almost all the time fully right guys!
I think it's very important for kids to see movies with messages like this.
Sorry but I can't support this movie. A set of individuals have to overcome another set of individuals, sounds pretty woke to me
@@GeoffreyBronson I just wish kid movies today were like this today's cartoon teaching kids how to be soft
Huge Respect to Flik , even after getting a beaten from Thumper he was still willing to stand up for himself and for the other ants. He is the soul reason why Hopper lost all of his power
Absolutely!
Hopper maybe an intimidating psychopath and monster and despite his gang he has no large private army.

R.I.P. Ben the cow from Barnyard, you never backed down
And don’t back down:)
Amen. Stand your ground.
I literally thought of that scene when I saw Flick getting up
There are so many bullies like Hopper in the real world…
But very few people like Flik who are brave enough to stand up to them.
And bullies like Hopper deserve the same or similar comeuppance like at the end of the movie
Hopper’s more than a bully he’s a violent psychopath and dictator who does what he ever he wants.
I dont think its about bullies i beileve its about the common people standing up to the elites who control the world
Well they have no problem standing up to them online. Problem is, they are 21 times more likely to stand up to the bully, if the one they are standing up to, is actually not the bully.
@@manolitoaguirre90 Eeyup, and it’s their own fault if they can’t see past their own insecurities that they have to lash out at everyone just to make themselves feel better.
They could have had a huge grasshopper v ants battle, but Flick’s speech and all the emotions that come through the confrontation are so much more satisfying!
Yep, flik definitely deserves his long overdue respect. He’s clearly the colony’s backbone bc everybody except him is scared to boss up against hopper .
Well he fucked shit up for the colony earlier and later on he lied to them to save face. This is just his redemption. Also I feel like he only found the courage to stand up at that point because he had nothing left to lose.
@@TristanWintle don’t forget he was the only one to speak tf up when dot was in danger. That’s why she only trusted him to save her from that bird.

God, I loved that moment
2:54 CHARGE YA!
Where are you going!? They’re just ants!
Flik: Save Me!
“You let one ant stand up to us, and they all might stand up.”
Which is exactly what is happening here, Flik finally had the courage to stand up to Hopper's lies.
That is what Canada did with the truckers...no wonder why the government hated them so...
The relevance of the words in this film today are unbelievable
2:49 Molt shedding his skin the moment the ants advanced is funny as hell. He certainly does live up to his name.

@@FuckTheNewAliasSystem she turned his earlier speech against him.
I’m so proud of you, Flik.
In reality those kicks would have killed flick, grasshoppers have very powerful back legs with spines on them, they can even puncture human skin if a big enough one kicks you.
Yeah also seriously well I can't see. But from the sounds Dave the Flick actor makes aftwards and the way he talks shouldn't Flick be parolized and have to be hospitalized? Again I know you said real world Thumper would've killed him. But the dirrector said that was just to piss you off and make you side with the ants when the real bird takes Hopper. Which actually was kinda interesting to hear him say. The other thing is and this still triggers me. Really bruh after that all Thumper gets is smack from Dot, and Dim doing the JP 2 T-Rex? Bruh he almost killed flic. Rack him! See Brave Heart. All though the Brit said rack him realize they didn't really do so. Cause during William Walis the rack wasn't a thing. So they kinda do what the rack does creatively.
In reality, ants aren't afraid of anything, so this movie's plot can't happen.
@@06pag Yeah. Also what triggers me is how everyone seems to forget Thumper's a little bitch. Look how in the first seen just Flik scolding him hurts him and he goes away. Like bruh don't just stand there and let him leave Flick hospitalized, scold him. Slap him. He's not a man. He's got no balls. But the key is you don't even have to aproach him. Like just someone scolding him spanks him away.
How badly did he dammage Flick vizually? I'm blind so audio wize it sounds like some big huge ass thing clubbing him. Then with the way Dave is groaning grunting and bairly breathing Flick either should be a vegetable or at least parcialy parolized or something. Were this done realistically. But do the vizuals match the audio?
@@hamitcampos4989 Flick gets seriously bruised by Thumper because of being kicked, coming from an insect about three times bigger than him (at least by this movie's scale).
As for how badly he's hurt, from when Hopper snaps his finger to stop the beatdown to saying ants serve Grasshoppers, Flick is on the ground immobile with several bruised spots, especially his eye.
Standing up takes noticeable effort, but he's able to stay up until Hopper knocks him down. By the time they're about to launch Hopper out a cannon about a minute or two later, Flick seems to be moving normally though still visibly bruised.
The big message this scene shows audiences is how the lower class can overpower the elite by standing together. If this happened in real-life then billionaires and politicians would become broke and end up behind bars.
For real, it’s like how the left keeps pedaling racism to keep poor whites and poor blacks at each other’s throats
But is more than that they can Just use other people's lust for Power and Control to their advantage like Ron DEsatan who uses the racists sexists homophobes and transphobes over use the word "woke" to maintain their Power, wealth, control and status quo of the elites oppressing the common people and there's other influencers and boot lickers who literally screw over others and there's Also Wars that corrupt other people as well and indoctrinate with hatred Power and bigotry is never simple
@@nutmatical1042I felt bad for Flik he went through alot of pain getting beat up by Thumper and then Hopper smacked him down and stepdad on his head and then Hopper kidnapped him and tried to choke him
Typically, when this happens in real life, billionaires and politicians end up dead 😅
This did happen in real life in several countries lol.
“Who’s idea was this?” Is one of the greatest lines I’ve ever heard in a movie.
Earlier in the movie at the grasshoppers home, a grasshopper mentions to Hopper that they don’t need the food the ants lost, so why should they even go back there. Hopper engages with his idea momentarily, only to crush it so he never has another idea again. Hopper explains that they need to drive the ants hard and not allow mistakes to go unpunished to establish his dominance and maintain control. He recognizes that the ants outnumber them 100 to 1, and knows that if they ever recognize that, the grasshoppers will lose control.
Hoppers is only able to control the ants because they believe the grasshoppers are stronger. When they rebel, he understands what happened and how it endangers his control: someone had an idea.
Huh?! Was it yours, princess?
"Ideas are very dangerous things. You are mindless soil shoving losers, put on this earth to serve us."

@@user-ge6co1oh7h *I'M THE ONE YOU WANT.
Flik: Go Away!
When you stand up to the bullies, that’s when they know they’re beaten; they don’t have any more power over you.
When Hopper knocked Flik to the ground, he knew that the ant was right.
Hopper’s return to Ant Island was really out of fear of the ants standing up to him and his gang.
After the bird and Flik confessed that it was his idea, Hopper knew that this ant - the same ant that stood up to him was trying to be a hero.
He originally wanted to set an example by squishing the Queen, but since the bird - he would squish the one who came up with the idea.
(Also at 2:50, Molt literally jumps out of his old skin!😂)

I love how it showed that even if he was alone, he was going to stand up for the colony. When he started his speech there was no one behind him. He probably wasnt even trying to start a revolution. He just got tired of being pushed around by literally everyone and finally said what hes been thinking all this time. Hes a thinker. He probably was just too afraid to say it especially since no one ever listened to him. And he chose to use his potentially last breath to say it. He knew thats what it was too.
