Good info. Last time I did that, I had a heck of a time getting the spring to line up to allow the second screw into its hole. Yours was much easier

Amazing how fast they turn over on 6 volts when everything in that system is to specification, (sorted) as this one clearly is. Nice even compression too. Ya gotta want it

I figured that I would pass this along, anytime a key and a keyway is involved, I like rub a little Dielectric grease on the crankshaft and its corresponding piece. Such as a harmonic balancer or a riding mower clutch. I find it a lot easier to persuaded into its final position. This is not meant to be criticism in any way. Because once again, you did a Great Job!

I noticed the 1 wire alternator conversion. Typical when converting from 6v to 12v. With time, it will do it again. Worse it will damage the ring gear on the flywheel as well. Good luck.

Good point. I'll keep that in mind if I ever convert it to 12 volts.

Bendix replacement is one thing that is actually easier on a Model T Ford - You don't have to remove the starter, just the Bendix cover on the back side of the engine. :)

If you want to know how to break your Bendix starter really easily, advance the spark a lot before you start the car.
